  1. Agree 100%, Bowers has been a force since he was a freshman, been double-teamed from the start and has still posted solid numbers. The guy had a miniscus tear, so do 1000 other guys. i did my twice and was scoped and ready for anything after a month. Imagine the care and training he got. His knee is a non issue. the guys is the most over looked player IMO. If he is there take him. Thats our Ty Warren for the next 10 years.
  2. Wow, harsh, did Newton nail this guys sister or something??
  3. And those wrestlers work 340 days out of the year. Anyone taking her side in this argument should be ashamed of them selves. She denied this kid a few hours of her time TWICE, and her publicist gives us that drivel as a response. How much more story do you all really need? I love cooking and enjoy her program, but I am through with it now.
  4. Wow, and she is married with 2 kids. Imagine being the husband and finding out that way. Niiiiiceeee...
  5. You sound like a gem to travel with. Suck it up.
  6. Interesting note here. Peterson was a high school player here in So Fla, there was a huge investigation regarding the taking of his SATs. Apparently there was a rumor that he had someone stand in for him. Peterson's birth name is Patrick Johnson. He changed his name as soon as he signed with LSU. He was a hardcore UM recruit and when he realized he would not be able to get in based on his test scores, he immediately dropped UM and went to LSU.
  7. Let me know when you find the guy cause I want to take a shot at him as well. I get Latina, some magazine for the elderly and some other garbage. I am not a "latina" nor am I elderly. I have no idea why this still come to my house. I know they aren't being paid for, that is for sure. Any latinos here? If so give me your address, i have some mags for you.
  8. I feel dumber for watching that. And I got to the minute mark.
  9. This is all here say. I don't buy it for a minute...
  10. Classy move by the moderator. Even though I agree.
  11. Atlantis isn't lost, it's in the Bahamas. I dropped 2k there over a year ago playing black jack.
  12. +1, the guys wasted 10 minutes of his life that he will never get back, all for the sake of making a lame point.
  13. No way Bowers falls that far.
  14. Thanks, I will give it a whirl.
  15. Side note/question: I just bought a house and it has the automatic garage opener minus the friggin remote. It is made by Genie, someone told me I could get a universal remote to open the door at Home Depot. Anyone ever try this?
  16. I found myself changing the channel when he was on.
  17. Thanks Mrs. Watt. I don't mind the pick if Bowers is already gone.
  18. Great comparison. Other than the fact that Kap was a 4 year starter and didn't transfer to another college because his coach signed another QB at Cal. And the fact that he scored just under 40 on the wonderlic and is about 4 inches taller than the Water Boy. And oh yeah can throw the ball in inclimate weather. Yeah just like JP.
  19. You know who had terrible mechanics and a rocket arm?? Brett Favrarraraa.....just sayin. I like this kid, I watched a lot of their games because I am a degenerate gambler and he was always making something out of nothing. he didn't have great talent around him but always got the job done. If he can add some weight he may be a guy they take a flier on in the 2nd. I doubt if he's there in the 3rd but you never know.
  20. That's what I am thinking. Would love to take Bowers and steal Kaepernick on the way back.
  21. This is the same genius who during Super Bowl week was on the Sid Rosenberg show and answered the following. Sid: "Bryant you're a down south guy, would you like to play down in Miami?" Mck: "Oh man I would love to play in Miami, more than anything." Way to show some respect to the team that drafted you, its not like he is a free agent or anything. What a tool box. Typical "U"
  22. Yeah who would want a dominant DE for years to come. Keep banging the Newton/Sumner work out warrior drum barbarian.
  23. he is obviously an OX but has the flexibility of wood. Enter in the fact that he has been pretty much playing the equivalent to high school talent in college this guy would get lapped in the league. He is almost too muscular if that makes sense. The right DL coach could mold him but probably a practice squad player at best. Side note, I was working out when at UCF and they had a few of the walk ons lifting. I saw some Canadian kid with the same build repping 225, he was at 50 and the coaches told him to stop. He could have easily gotten 10 more, but to be honest the guy was so stiff he probably couldn't wipe his butt. Oh and he didn't make the team either.
  24. He poisoned the tree after the Iron bowl, that stuff takes a while to kill something that size. Non the less he's a POS for doing it.
  25. it is truly amazing the lack of college football knowledge there is here. Bowers has been dominant in the ACC since he was a freshman. He was double teamed for about 3 years and still put up great numbers against the run/pass. Don't be surprised to hear his name called first.
