This is why it is pre season. Wood will never get that experience in practice. The guy was a fantastic center in college. You don't just forget the position. I played center for 4 years, the center talks to the guards and they relay the verbage to the tackles. Who knows where the translation is getting lost. Solid Oline depth is Very rare. A team that can plug and play like a GB did and the Steelers did is a testament to their QBs i believe. But if a starting LT goes down for any team it will be a massive loss. That being said I agree we need to get better on the front but Bell-Levitre-Wood is a great place to start.

It's the NFL, everyone is good and gets beat from time to time. You guys are beyond unrealistic in your assessments and perception of what you are really looking at. The OL looked adequate to me, are they the best in the league? not a chance but the hold they hold the line of scrimmage and give Fitz or the backs 3 seconds, that is all you need.

The D is good, very good secondary with Nolan running the game plan. Not sure why they brought back JT, they have a lot of youth on the outside. I actually played against Carey in our senior years of high school. We both played OL and they subbed him in for goal line and he was the biggest person I have ever seen on a field. He played on the same team as Antonio Bryant and Tory Cox, he was hands down the most athletic big man I have ever seen play ball.
