  1. He hit it on the head with Tebow pre draft....
  2. Yup, that was the basis of my argument earlier. We know there are a few glaring weaknesses at OL. But our lack of playmakers IMO far outweighs the OL issues. Ok, I will give you that. But its even more of an indictment of how bad the QB play was. Thad holds the ball like he is in a sand lot game and has zero touch. he can throw a deep ball as we saw when he connected a few times late in the year. I meant the entire offense. The read option is designed to freeze the LBers and ends to give EJ a few more seconds to read the defense. Which I thought he did a decent job a few times, his problem is he hasn't caught up to the speed of the game from transitioning to college and that's why you see late picks across the middle. The read option maximizes our offenses strength on every play which is the threat that the our RBs may touch it every play. EJ has to build confidence and trust his decision and throws, something Hackett was hammering into him daily. Next year will be telling, as for the rest of the league Kaep and Wilson are way ahead of the curve already, that could tbe the reason they don't feel the need to run the read option.
  3. This is correct, no synergy last year at the most crucial position counted for a lot of those sacks. Not to mention the fact that the OC didn't alter the game plan one iota week to week. I don't have an issue with the read option as its a strength WHEN EJ RUNS IT! You cant do it with Tuel or Lewis. Not the same skill set. While Lewis did the best he could his scrambling and lack of awareness in the pocket added to this sack numbers. EJ has that problem as well but carries the upside a hell of a lot better.
  4. Anything on Wilfork? Just read an interesting article in the Sun Sentinel. Belichek was smart in asking Wilfork to take a pay cut after the opening of free agency, basically letting the market flood itself out in the hopes that no one bites on him for big money. 3 years 12 mil with 5 guaranteed. Make it happen littman, you have wasted money on worse players...
  5. I think he's been gone for some time. Probably went to the waist side when gailey got the boot. Haven't seen anything but would like to see him throw up a bat signal now and again
  6. I think you missed the joke Ed.
  7. ha ha. That's the post of the week!
  8. not for nothing but he also said Robert Ayers was the next coming of LT. But I love Watkins
  9. Or maybe pepper has told the Bills he is not worth the head ache.
  10. Ryan, have some class. He's simply asking a question. OP, IMO Barr is Maybin 2.0, he seems like a pure speed guy who doesn't have the strength to compete with bigger tackles. He is a one trick pony, that is why he is sliding down mocks from his top 5 rating early on.
  11. Here Bmore is the likely landing spot. But agree with the above, would love to have him on this team.
  12. This guy was a turn style for the Jets, please explain why we want him here. I am really lost.
  13. Phil Micrackin.... motor never stops.
  14. Heard it on the radio on the way in this morning from the Fins beat writer. Apparently its solid but a lot of people use Miami as leverage for other spots to land, that is the word with Byrd and Albert. They think 5 years 50 mill will be the number but it all depends on the guarantee money. I still think he ends up a Texan.
  15. He played everywhere at LBer for FSU but mostly middle. Has the speed and frame to play it but I don't think the mental capacity is there. That's my thought on why he doesn't see the field much.
  16. Big time FSU fan here and I have been disappointed with NB for a while. He was great at FSU with all of the different d coordinators he worked under. I hope the light bulb comes on and this kid steps up soon.
  17. giggity....giggity....gig...ity
  18. How was he able to be signed?? was he an URFA?
  19. That's against the Bills fans hypocritical oath....
  20. 5 years 41 mil - 24 guaranteed - Houston Texans
  21. I think Houston shells out big for him. Their secondary is terrible. And he will be great there. It is what it is bills fans. Can't really fault either side but cantankerous had it right: it's years of ineptitude that drive players away.
  22. Yup. A few years back a 16ft Burmese tried to do the same thing but the snake literally exploded after consumption. the gator was 5 ft long I believe. These things are scary to say the least. They just captured an 18 footer a few weeks ago, apparently its a record.
