  1. diggz, we need to talk. We could very well be married to the same woman or they are twins separated at birth.
  2. What do torn ACLs have to do with hydration? McCoy pulled a hammy, you can do it bending over and tying your shoes...or not stretching properly- before and after you work out or run.
  3. Who's the ass hat who set we are sooooooo deep at RB?
  4. O'leary will be fine. He's a rookie in his first start. Give him some room. Take it from an FSU fan, I will gladly eat crow if this guy doesn't produce on some level. He's a throwback that plays tough in the hashes. His hands were never a question at the college level. Hopefully he shakes the nerves.
  5. That's almost comical if Troy Aikman wasn't there. Who i also think was over rated.....
  6. Guru? That's some resume he has there.....It reads of a ransom note that no one wanted to answer. I wouldn't hang my hat on those guys.
  7. I live just west of Fort Lauderdale in Plantation.
  8. Ha ha. I can see my son doing this.
  9. No Prob! I have the ticket so we change it up every week. Cheesesteaks, fresh mahi, chili, burritos early in the season. I always get my sausage and sahlens from Buffalo and they are always a must.
  10. Unfortunately I do my tailgating from my house in fla but when I do go to the fins game I usually make the following depending on crowd: Jalapeno's stuffed with cream cheese and wrapped in bacon Wings are always a must Marinated skirt steak to make gyros, add fresh pitas, tatziki, lettuce, tomato, onion and cucumber after the game I pull out the Italian sub: Large french or Italian bread loaf, Baked ham, genoa salami, cappicola and proscuitto. add let, tom, onion and oil n vin etc. I make a variation of this with spicy sausage and a can of hot rotel tomatoes and peppers. nice and spicy and you cant stop eating it. cheap and easy
  11. JAX beach to Destin is about 4 1/2 hours or so on I-10. I have made that drive plenty of times. Not sure I would say "not all that far".
  12. Rest easy Mad Cap. We will say a special prayer for your wife and little ones. Absolutely heartbreaking. I feel terrible about just seeing this thread now. I'd like to help in any way I can Tony. Other Tony
  13. I watched Taylor all 4 years at VT and while he was/is very athletic his decision making was terrible as were his mechanics. That's not to say he isn't capable, but if he was starting caliber material he would have been grabbed by another team already, JMO. I think the fight is between Cassel and EJ. They want a manager who can make all the throws, that's Cassel. Why push it when we have such a strong Def and run game.
  14. I played in a golf tourny with Joe at Grand Oaks (Caddyshack SIte) and he's the same guy as on the radio. Nice guy, self deprecating and loves to talk. And drink Corona...
  15. I listen to Joe every morning on my way into work. He's an ex TE and knows the Fins and the game. He doesn't bash other teams unlike the the other talking heads and he has good guests weigh in as well.
  16. Well, FWIW- driving in this morning they had Omar Kelly on and he backtracked. Apparently the Fins are still positioning to keep Clay as they are 20 mil under the cap. BUT they do have a massive need at OG and LBer. Couple that with the fact that there may be a huge deal down the line for Tannehill. They want that 2 TE set similar the Gronk/Hernandez days.
  17. You're misinformed, he is the Fins beat writer and is very in the know. I hear him and Joe Rose everyday, it's not gospel but it's always solid. He is very knowledgable and tells it like it is. I can only go on what I have read of Sullys and the boards postings and they aren't the same.
  18. Spot on! And you have to hear them down here in Miami. They think Tannanbum is the next best thing. I had the same conversation with a friend who's a die hard Jets fan. He agreed Tannanbum was the problem, overpaying Holmes and Edwards and a ton of bone head contracts.
  19. IMO he's in that 3-5 mill range, no more. He's not a game changer that you plan for. Are guys like Belicheck going to game plan to stop Charles Clay??
  20. Davis had 13 TDs in 2013. Last year he was terrible, but so was the entire offense for SF.
  21. This was expected, wouldnt get all upset over it.
  22. FWIW - This morning in So Fla radio the Dolphins beat writer is saying they are going forward w/o Clay. BUT with the way Suh is structured there is money and he has mentioned taking a hometown deal to stay. Going to Cleveland is a posturing move. It's either us or them... and he wants to remain a Fin, but that's no secret.
