Specific Question about a Specific Play
BUFFALOTONE replied to The Big Cat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That was a terrible call on the subsequent run as well. Put EJ in and let him push ahead for a yard and get some room to breath. Too safe by Lynn there. -
So the Pats are going to be scouting the blitz packages we had in over the weekend? That seems new, did you also know the sun is hot and water is wet? There won't be another Belicheck for whatever reason, mainly because the devil is satisfied with having his soul for eternity..... You're in New Hampshire eh? Did you know who Steve Grogan was when Rex mentioned him or are you a circa 2002 fan like the rest of them? Seem to remember when you guys were cellar dwellars the "Razor" as you call it was a dead zone.

Lighten up Francis... I took it as, it doesnt matter who the QB is, we are coming after them. NEWSFLASH - REX RYAN DOES NOT ANSWER QUESTION CONSERVATIVELY AT PRESS CONFERENCE

That's great... get the game over faster..... I like where their heads are at.

Bucky Gleason: Right On the Money
BUFFALOTONE replied to Keukasmallies's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
5th rated pass D? Played the Browns and Bears....and until Jay decided to go all Cutler they were getting carved up. Oh and he had a sprained thumb from the game in Houston.....on his throwing hand. Wentz looked good no doubt but I'd temper this entire comparison. Only portion I agree with is Brandon and Whaley need to go with Rex if this season continues to trend in this direction. He's right, they should have known about Rex... -

It's sad that's what you're holding onto as a fan, and I don't mean that disrespectfully. We are holding out hope they look good in a loss -

I know calls go both ways, but there were a handful of holding calls on their OL that went unnoticed.... -

Buffalo Bills Fire Offensive Coordinator Greg Roman

Something had to be done and this was a chicken **** thing to do now. What a mess... -
Disaster was a strong word. But there is no cohesion, Wood is beyond overpaid and over hyped. Miller had a couple of nice blocks last night but is still learning the position. It's just dumbfounding how fast we are going backwards....but McCoy isn't the issue.
-
Christ, he's the only bright spot in my book. He bounces it outside because our OL is a disaster. The offense is beyond boring, we make no attempt to spread the field and create any sort of mismatch. The guy has been the best player on offense period and has taken a beating doing it. How does Antonio Brown, Julio, Beckam and the list goes on and on get open or find ways too?
-
He's not talented enough to play the position, plain and simple. Last year he was a relative unknown so teams approached him with kid gloves because of the athleticism. Now there's enough film on him and he's not smart enough to read a defense....same way Losman....same way Edwards was. He's essentially a RB with a better arm. I have never really cringed at watching the Bills play, last night was a first. The ones I feel the worst for are season ticket holders....If i didn't live in Florida I would be right there with you but I am invested partially with the ticket and wish I could cancel....

It's beyond frustrating that this guy has regressed so badly. All the 530 workouts and other BS doesn't mean a thing if you don't have it between the ears, it's something that can't be over come at this level. Extremely athletic but doesn't have the accuracy or where with all to read a defense. And if he isn't allowed to audible or doesn't then shame on the coaches and organization for investing in mediocrity. I will gladly eat my shirt if this light bulb goes on but after 6 years in the league I just don't see it. He sat behind an elite QB for 4 seasons and could not be more opposite in comparison. You can't be a gun slinger or late with your throws when you are not accurate. This is really bad product on the field, Another poster was correct, other than the broken plays and fumble recovery this was an absolute blow out. The JETS came to play and we looked like we could care less. That's on the coach.

It does indeed sound horrific, and I feel for the guy. But what does pot do for this? Is it an alternative to pain killers? -
seantrel Henderson facing 4 game suspension
BUFFALOTONE replied to Don't stop billievein's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The long and short is this... If he used pot for his illness, prior to use he should have consulted the league and discussed the repercussions of taking the banned substance. Getting in front of this could have saved him 4 games. -

Ole Miss (Chad Kelly) vs FSU game thread
BUFFALOTONE replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in College Football
GO NOLES! Total domination in the 2nd half. Typical Jimbo over coached squad. Let your guys make plays and that's what he did, called a hell of a game in the 2nd half and Ole Miss was reeling. That FSU D is going to be up there with BAMA when the smoke clears. I don't think Clemson has the horses this year, they lost a lot of talent but Watson is a stud. As for Kelly, he's a mixed bag. You see the talent but loves to force and has a quick trigger mentality. That offense is built on tempo so he usually knows exactly where he's going with the ball. Those sacks after the primary was covered showed he doesn't go through his progressions well. Who ever said this kid is top 10 talent should have their press pass revoked. Francois looked better and is a RS Freshman. IMO... -
Ha ha. that was great.

Now who has the blinders on. Your crusade us admirable. From your posts you seem like a person heavily ingratiated or at least concerned with our civil liberties. So tell me, what have you done or are you doing to advance these causes? -

The one refreshing thing to come out of this whole topic is you get a behind the curtains view of the people you have such a common ground with. Now I'm not saying one subject such as this encapsulates a persons entire being but it does get you thinking and reacting on a whole other level. I don't visit the PPP board as I come to this site because this is where the "best" Bills fans can get there fix. I'll leave you with this and it's is just my opinion: I have a brother who has served since 1997. He's done countless tours and is still serving as a Major in the USAF. The members of this board that comprise that fraternity I thank you endlessly for your service. Some of us who have never served can sympethize as I bet they had a close family member or associate STAND for this country. You don't have to be a color or creed to appreciate the freedoms we receive in America. There are thousands who come by boat, caravan or run all night to get a glimpse of freedom and opportunity. Everyone is right, cause it's an opinion. He has the right to say and do what he wants. But I don't have to like it. And all of the people pounding your fists for equality and the suffering of others, I truly hope you practice what you're preaching and not just trying to argue a point. There are a lot of injustices in this country. But what has he done to improve and better the lives of those he obviously cares so much for? I'll wait and see if he decides to use his platform to further the oppressed. -
