  1. We all know he had a terrible showing last year, but we all know this kid has the tools to be a solid QB. His decision making needs to get alot better but that only comes from game time experience. And NO 8 games is not enough, if he doesnt beat out Nall or Kelly for that matter than he does not belong as the starter and you deal him away. But at least let the kid get outworked. I have never heard of drafting a QB in the first round and then realeasing him 2 years later. Especially when one of those years he was injured. I am in agreeance with all of you on the fact that he was ineffective last year, but you cant tell me that where Bledsoe would have had a 7 yard loss, JP made a 4 yard gain. 3rd and 3 is alot different than 3rd and12. If the kid doesn't produce-cut your losses. I think he will be ok, look at Eli his first year.GO BILLS!
  2. My friend I hope she is worth it. I already warned the old lady, she is not to speak to me during the draft weekend. I am going on a cruise from 4/15-4/22. I almost had a heart attack when she told me, thank god they moved the draft back a weekend. Or she was going solo. Well good luck with wedding, the honeymoon and the divorce procedings, just kidding. No im not. Good luck though.
  3. I think if we trade down to grab Bunkley he will be gone, Cleveland has their eye on him and supposedly they will take him if he is there. If Davis or Huff is their i dont think we can go wrong either way. Personally I do not think that Bunkley or Ngata are worth a top 10. But if we were going to take one, I like Bunkley. That being said I would take Hawk or Davis first. To much talent to pass bye
  4. Iknow a couple of ladys that can arrange that.
  5. Good point, KC did just lose Boerigter so that would not be a bad trade, but Black has alot of upside and we all know how hard it is to get a decent LT.But I would pull the trigger in a second.
  6. Depth and talent are two different things. We can have ten guys call them WR and they couldnt catch a cold. I like the thought of how the Pats went about it. You dont need a name brand to catch a ball just a guy with 2 hands. The had a group of no name recievers and I think they made out ok. I like what the Bills are doing as far as skill positions go, davis will be a better aquisition then we think(barring he stays healthy) Lee is going to spread the field and hopefully we can get a tight end to catch the ball. Lets make it so defenses cant sit 8 in the box and dare us to throw it.
  7. I like the thought process here, jones has been known to "blow his load" if Dallas gets jumpy and makes a stupid move like that I hope the braintrust is smart enough to jump all over it. The question is who would we draft at 18, Eric Winston perhaps or a Max Jean Gilles.
  8. FINALLY! a guy on this board that makes sense, god bless you sir.
  9. Is there anyone in free agency that can honestly step in and make this team better? I know it was smash and grab in the beginning but there has to be some positives out there.
  10. This guy hasnt been healthy in quite a while, its hard to pay a guy when he tackles the trainer more than a running back. Good riddens we need someone in there that wants to play.
  11. Last time I checked Willis tore all three, and Steve Smith broke his leg, they seemed to bounce back, I think.
  12. Good post up until the asking for a #1 came up. There is no team in the that will give us a #1 for EM or a #2 for that matter. The problem is EM wants to go to a contender. He wont play for a mediocre team, he feels he has earned the right to play for a SB, which is going to make negotiating with other teams that are successful tougher. They will be the ones to hold the cards knowing how bad EM wants out and that the Bills want that salary off the books, no matter what people say trimming his salary is goal #1, if they really wanted EM they would pay him. We all know how frugal the brain trust is.I like your post and I see where you make the point about Price and Henry, but look what happened to Price when he went to ATL. He thrived in our system because of EM he had one good year and banked on it, good for him.Had this been 2 or 3 years ago I would agree with you he is worthy of a #1. I mean T.O. was traded for a #2, EM isnt in that league anymore.
  13. Ahahahah. Thats not funny.
  14. Agree, Mcargo has some talent but he played behind a very good LB crew also. He has good size and is an ox, but not worth a first round grade.
  15. Brick, for the third time in this thread.
  16. I am not disagreeing with you, I know its not feasable to have the #1 overall it was a speculation thing but if we did get the pick knowing our glaring needs you wouldnt take the Brick #1 overall. It would be very hard not to pull that trigger. A guy like him comes along once every ten years.
  17. I like the thought of JW at the 2 slot. If we can get that much speed at reciever we can be real tough to put 8 guys in the box on. If we are able to spread the field like Fairchild did in St. Louis than we have as good a chance as anyone. But it all comes to the lines and how they maintain.
  18. Walker was asking for a big payday before the injury which makes me worried on both sides. There is no doubt that walker is talented but coming off that injury who knows how he will be.If GB gave us Walker and their 3rd or 4th for Eric and our 5th than I would say pull the trigger. They both want out and Walker has alot more upside than Moulds. Syanara EM, thanks for the memories.
  19. Why not, we have a great running, lets get a tackle that we dont have to worry about for the next 12 years. Lets actually put someone there to solidify a spot.Instead of plug and go, we are not the Pats, obviously lets get a top tackle and build around him.
  20. Ya I know just tossin a penny in the well, hey its worth a shot right
  21. Cleveland signed Washington and Mcginest two guys at the end of their ropes. Sorry fella but Cleveland is a long way from being competative. We are a in a rebuilding mode face it guys, if we win 8 games be happy, I am happy with what the franchise is doping and getting these young guys could benefit us in the end. or we can shell out an ass load of money get 2 high priced names and still complain about how we only won 6 games. The only person in my opinion who was worth the money he got was Hutch. and there is no way the frugal brain trust spend that kind of dough. Everyone wants to win now thats the idea, but man lets bite the bullet and get back in the early 90's. Lets give Marv the chance to hang himself, we owe the guy that much.GO BILLS
  22. What did you want me to complain about Marv and the off. line or actually have something else to say. Or I can just bash the bills like 50% of the posters due.
