They say for the money that Vickers from Colorado is the #1 FB on the board, according to Mel Kiper. It all depends on what you want, a pure blocker or a receiving FB with decent speed. I do like Bernstein he is very physical and would help Willis alot in the future. I also like the way the Steelers used Haynes, he steps in and gets some tough yards, thats the type of FB Vickers is.

You were correct. I guess we have to wait and see what Detroit has to say and then make him an offer. I wold also like to have this guy, I think he can fill a definite void. One less thing to worry about and then drafy for some depth.

I get your point, but he has already visited Houston, Buffalo, then Detroit. And if you read his bio. he is an intelligent guy. Also he started 16 games last year behind a very good running attack. I wouldnt have let him get on that plane to Detroit. And the point that we dont know what detroit is thinking is more of a reason to make the guy an offer he wouldnt be subject to turn down. Now I am not sure that we didnt make an offer but he obviously liked what he saw, as far as what i read on BB.com

We need a WR like we need a whole in the head. I like the idea of Davis or Huff, there is alot of quality lineman out there. Lets hope that we get the right guys.

I like our picks but I see alot of guys that were projected alot earlier that there stock looks to have dropped considerably. Kiwuanka, Zamotis, Bing. I thought these guys were late 1st rounders or early 2nd. Maybe I got the wrong info. though.

Did anyone else catch ESPN draft special yesterday. Merril "the concussion" Hoge said and I quote "Kellen Clemens from Oregon was the best QB prospect in the draft, he has a better arm and qb intangables then any of the other QB's that are projected to get drafted in the first round." Salisbury looked at him like he had 3 heads. I think merril took one to many hits without the helmet on.

I agree. I like his build and potential. But potential only means you havent done s--- yet, direct quote from my high scool coach. Anyway I think we can get DT later in the draft that can have just as much impact. But I think we need a game changer on either side of the ball and I dont think this kid is it.

He filled in pretty well for Davis considering the offensive line he was running behind. Not saying ours is much better but could be a solid backup for Willis. Especially with Houston taking Bush he may actually come at a decent price...I think it would be a good signing, not sure of his size though.

I dont get some of these guys, you finally have a chance to make a future for yourself, you get set financially and you go and make an embarrasment of yourself and the organization that employs you. Guns, Drugs, and fighting-cmon man get a clue grow the f--- up and be a man already. Im sick of these guys thinking they can have it both ways. Then when they go and fail a drug test and get booted out of the league and cry that they were treated unfairely. Hey I dont make a fraction of what these guys do and I get drug tested at least once a year. They should finally make an example out of this guy and toss him in jail. He has had a bad past in college also. I would like to read about something positive for a change.
