I disagree, Wilkinson will not be an everydown player. He will be a short yardage and or goalline player. He is still effective at his age. I am not sure what his contract perameters are but if he came cheap and DJ thinks highly enough of him than he should be brought in. If not than we will go another route come cut down time.

Why not take a chance on a guy like Wilkinson. We simply do not have the short yardage or goalline run stuffer that we need. A real big body in the middle to take up Olineman does not hurt. If we can squeeze a couple of years out of him than I am all for it. I dont care about the knocks he has had in his career, the fact is he has been in the league this long he is obviously doing someting right.

Agreed, and trust me Ive read a couple and you are not missing much IMO.

Like my old football coach would say " potential only meany you havent done sh-- yet." Gibson is a building with hair, he needs to shed about 50 lbs to be effective. No way this tank makes the team. But he has "potential".

What are you basing this on. He played behind a terrible O-line and a shaky QB at best. After we were down in everygame we had to abandon the run and pass so he didnt get the quality touches. He will be a Bill for a long time. This is his contract year and its do or die. He will step up.

I think Nall will compete, and hopefully be one of those diamonds in the rough type of QBs that St. Louis is famous for. Plus Fairchild is going to make a huge difference with this offense. It cant be worse or more predictable than it was last year. As for the JP crap if he wants the job its put up or shut up.

He wouldnt go on record and bash JP, regardless if no one liked the guy. If JP steps in and wins then there will be no character issues to argue about. As for TKO losung him was huge. He keeps talking about "the COMEBACK" lets see what happens. That is a terrible injury to mentally recoup from, we all know he can do it physically.

No hes not. TV is a a great character guy but his days are numbered. The only position he could play now is at FS. He does not have the speed to cover a #1 or #2. He has a great football mind and will help alot in the development of these young guys. We wont cut him for that reason alone. If Simpson has a good camp dont be surprised to see him in there very soon. The cover 2 we run is not that difficult of a defense to learn.
