  1. That does sound good. I also do not like the fact that if someone has a blow up game the first guy online grabs him. I would like to omit that from our league. We have had the same league for 6 seasons. We finally got a steady group to do a keeper league. Got to change up my drafts style now. Dont worry I am not going DB,DL,DB,DB.
  2. The way are waiver wire is set is by the last team who picks has the last chance to grab another player. Example if Randy Moss gets dropped and i am 5th in line to grab him and you are 4th it doesnt matter if i actually made the transaction first you would get him. It keeps from everyone just grabbing players. Now free agency is different. Anyway how many people do you have per league? If you actually set up divisions.
  3. I mat be mistaken but Yahoo does have all of those commissioner settings. You make your own point values and rules.
  4. I would actually take action on that. I think Buffalo goes 6-10. Like the rest of you I would love for them to contend but they dont have the tools yet. Learning a new offense and a new defense is very tough not to mention the new coaching changes.
  5. Please guy, come to south florida during hurricane season. Wilma knocked my power out for 2 weeks. No A/C, no hot water, no lights, no gas, three inches of water in the house and nothing remotly edible. And the weather was decent for about 2 days then the heat kicked up again. I know what you are going through it happens to us 5 times a summer at least. Stupid El nino.
  6. Gotta go with yahoo. To me still the best and at the right price. FREE. Unless you pay 8.99 a month for up to date stats. Its not really worth it though.
  7. I got this from the ESPN insider around the league segment. This was written by Lenny P. Sorry if it was already posted. Its amazing these guys are like pendulums with there half-ass analysis. You think one of the could man up and say we were wrong about our coverage of the CBA and Wilson and Brown were spot on with not rushing this. • After last week's suggestion in this space that one of the sides will exercise the 2008 opt-out trigger in the recent extension to the collective bargaining agreement, which will make for a very short honeymoon for whomever succeeds Tagliabue, there was considerable response from NFL owners and high-ranking team executives. Several agreed with the assessment and questioned the wisdom of having endorsed the extension which, four months later, apparently doesn't look nearly as good to some owners in hindsight as it did in March. Too bad, guys, you voted for it. Well, at least 30 of you did. The lone dissenters, Ralph Wilson of Buffalo and Cincinnati's Mike Brown, were all but pilloried for suggesting that the extension was ram-rodded through and that they didn't understand much of it. Four months later, with many of the elements of the CBA still under debate (anyone got a copy yet of the "qualifiers" which are supposed to determine the expanded revenue sharing mechanism?), Wilson and Brown don't seem quite as detached as they were made out to be. There were a lot of low-revenue owners who talked tough going into the CBA negotiations. When it came time to vote, though, most of them folded. Four months later, a few clearly are second-guessing themselves.
  8. I wouldn't mind taking Stanton from Michigan State. Unless we do finish in the crapper we will not have a shot at Quinn. If we are below mediocre like alot of people think it can be a great spot to get Stanton or if JP does well this year we would also go with Levi Brown. Brown looked great last year and is a 4 year starter. Could be a solid LT for a long time.
  9. Anyone have an opinion on the best place to order a custom jersey. I would love to get a Whitner authentic throwback. Let me know if you guys have ordered something like this. Thanks BT
  10. I still think that Theisman hit was one of the nastiest things I have ever seen on a football field.
  11. I wouldn't go that far chief.
  12. Someone call mythbusters. Let it go dude, until we do something worth a damn then you can come up with these crafty explanations. Until then grin and bear.
  13. That will make 5 right. The Friggin Mcgahee bunch.
  14. What did she expect his reaction to be, happy go lucky.
  15. Davis is barely 6 feet and we have Parrish and Mcgee as returners. Davis will not handle those duties.
  16. I dont see the big deal. What is BB the first guy to go down this road? It happens a thousand times over. The husband in this situation seems like the donkey to me. If you know your wife is getting gifts and money from a "friend" and youre partaking in it and then turn around and say its wrong. That makes you look like a bigger fool. Cut your losses guy, could be worse she could have been cheating on you with Meathead.
  17. you can count me in. See you ut at the table.
  18. I will remember that when we are heads up. When is the next game?
  19. Definitly.I donate plenty of my money to the clowns at jokerroom. I always forget though. I see it in the threads and always want to play. Are you intersted in a game now?
  20. Whats with the link? Do you want to play or not? I am at pokerroom.com right now. Let me know if you are in.
  21. Nothing personal, but Pyrite Gals posts remind me of my freshman year science teacher. A bunch of run-on sentences that dont make any sense. Not to mention he rambles on and on. He needs to adopt the K.I.S.S. method. Keep it simple stupid.
  22. anyone want to play heads up, I am logged in right now.
  23. I dont think Davis makes it. Too many miniature horses in our stable of WR's and I dont think we need another one. Nance is a big body we need in the red zone. Plus I dont think Davis plays special teams.
  24. Whos Walter Pace? Do you mean Orlando ?
