Seconded....where's that "drooling" smiley?

I really don't understand the hatred for a guy who has taken a little longer to develop than anticipated after some serious personal issues and coming out of college early. I've seen progress in his game, and if he can overcome some of the nagging little injuries, I think he'll keep developing nicely.

It's a Best-of-Three series now, so Detroit will have to steal another one in Boston...

Or try moviemistakes.com. You want to see some people nitpick a film to death, that's the place to go. IMDB has some of the mistakes, but moviemistakes.com buries IMDB in that aspect. Couple other nice features - allows you to vote on whether a posted mistake is an actual mistake or just BS, and also has categories for corrections, Easter Eggs and trivia.

They still have them. There is a huge candy store here in Cleveland - B.A. Sweetie. They specialize in hard-to-find candy but they say that if it is still in production they can get it for you. Good size store with a lot of the ones mentioned in this thread - Whatchamacallit, Mallow Cup, Sky Bars, Coffee Crisp, and a whole bunch more. Pretty cool place.

You're not kidding. Rip is also as accomplished a flopper as anyone in the league, but he is more selective about when he does it than guys like Ginobli and Varejao, so he doesn't seem to get the same recognition as those other guys..

I hope so, because not only is there someone in every J-school who thinks they are the next Reilly, but there are a lot who don't realize that pursuing a career in sports reporting means they will be probably initially be spending a lot of time on the desk taking phone results, or if they are lucky they get to chase down a prep athlete for a post-game interview after a blowout football game against a team in the middle of nowhere, and doing the interview equivalent of pulling teeth to get a coherent answer to simple questions. It usually takes a lot of "dues-paying" to get to the point where you can opine about whatever you damn well please in the sports world.

Magic are out, Cavs are out...by default (anti-Pistons) I guess I am rooting for the Celtics to come out of the East and the Spurs to come out of the West - and I hope the Spurs spank them in the finals, just to shut up all the d-bag Boston-area band wagoners.

Has anyone used that Fighting Chance in trying to lease a car? I know the pros and cons of leasing vs buying, just wondering how successful that system is for trying to get the best deal on a lease.

He probably learned a couple valuable lessons - don't throw the desk under the bus, check your article after it's posted to make sure that the "facts" you included were not changed or screwed up in formatting/posting (had that happen once - one missing word -- dropped in the cut and paste -- changed the whole context of a paragraph and article - good thing we caught it quickly and changed it online) and if you are going to write about the Bills, you damn sure better have your facts in order, or TBD will find it, will call you out and will expect it to be corrected ASAP.

We'll probably trade my Dodge Dakota in for something smaller and better on gas mileage for my wife to use with the car seat for the baby, and when we do I'll be using her current '02 Honda CR-V...runs great, AWD for winter, pretty good gas mileage (23-25 combined) and decent cargo area.

Apparently Rachel has serious misgivings about the script, especially the idea of her playing the mother of a 21-year-old, and there is talk that Weisz may be cast in Sin City 2.
