  1. Not going to happen. McKelvin would have to pass both Youboty and Greer (and possibly Corner) and to do that McKelvin's play would have to dramatically improve AND Youboty/Greer would have to struggle.
  2. Agreed. I was extremely impressed with his pocket presence on that pass -- he felt the rush and made a nice little move up and to his left to buy himself some room and time, all while keeping his eyes downfield. Very impressive play.
  3. I am much, much more impressed with Trent this year than I was last year. I think the extra year of experience helps, the offensive line helps, and Turk's gameplanning and playcalling really helps.
  4. Yep. They'll NEVER make it into a BCS Bowl now.
  5. Unless they have another angle, it's inconclusive.
  6. In Peters' defense, he did get close enough to yell "LOOK OUT" to Trent...he looked like he was in mid-(pre)season form on that play.
  7. Youboty has been solid today.
  8. Yeah, they really came up big in their early-season showdown with USC, huh?
  9. When he knows the defensive calls and can work them into his gameplan and audibles. On a side note, if Crennel gets rolled tomorrow night and tears his ACL and MCL we might see Belichick* move into a plastic bubble or padded room for the remainder of the season.
  10. Four whole winters?
  11. Seriously?
  12. You know this is going to open a sh!tstorm of Losman-Edwards stuff, right?
  13. Thank you for providing a voice of reason. The last time we played in Jax - 2003 - it was brutal sitting in the stadium that day. Very little breeze, no clouds in the sky, and it was *only* 88 (and that was at the airport. IIRC on the field the temps were right around 100.) The heat could very well play a factor, if our guys don't take it seriously and prepare for it.
  14. I just want to make sure everyone is using the same math - Trent is still a rookie?
  15. Good luck and Godspeed to everyone in the path. Here's hoping everyone's families and friends stay safe through this storm.
  16. Ah, I missed that detail. That keeps hope alive that they may indeed find her.
  17. Guess I assumed...I know, I know... He is. Well played, sir.
  18. Nick Fury, while a popular character in Marvel Comic circles, isn't as iconic to the general public as Captain America is. Therefore IMO changing CA's race would cause more of an uproar than changing Fury's. And come on. A "handfull (sic) of CA fans?" CA is one of the most popular comic book heroes of all-time. There would be plenty of people ticked off about it. But I don't expect to take this much further with you, since you apparently already decided that the movie is going to suck and won't see it. I'm sorry - would a few "Beerball is a homo" references help retain your interest?
  19. Sorry you didn't follow. I thought it was pretty clear but it was late, so maybe I worded it poorly. The point is - if they dropped that little girl in a lake then chances are very, very good that she's gone and will never be found. If they were dumb enough to bury her within three mils of the house then the chances improve dramatically, but then again the EquuSearch search team suspended search operations due to flooding near the possible burial sites. The flooding could be the wildcard as well - if the child was buried in an area that was flooded, the waters could have unearthed the body or carried it somewhere they aren't looking.
  20. Really? The hiking site I linked doesn't know who killed her? Crap, I better call Shaq and update him before he wakes those people up, thinking he's about to put a big point on his law-enforcement resume. Being a hiking site doesn't have anything to with knowing who killed her. It's just a listing of how many bodies of water - i.e., possible dumping sites - there are within a 10-minute drive of her mother's/grandparent's house.
  21. And soooooooooooo many people have been looking for Jennifer Kesse (an adult who disappeared from outside her Orlando apartment) with no luck for almost three years. There are a ton of lakes around Orlando - according to this list, 70+ within five miles of Orlando - so unless they did something stupid like burying the body, there is a very good chance that they never find this little girl. I hope to God I am wrong about this and the little girl is found alive and well, or at the very least is found so the killer gets justice, but I just don't see it happening anytime soon.
  22. There's a good flash-type timeline on the OrlandoSentinel.com website. I think the mother killed her, either by neglect or by her direct action, and got rid of the body. Unfortunately I don't think they'll ever find the little girl's body - it was probably dumped wherever Jennifer Kesse disappeared to.
  23. So that's fine with me. I'm not a S.H.I.E.L.D./Nick Fury fan, so if they - Marvel Comics - changed the character's appearance to follow Samuel L. Jackson's physical and personality characteristics, then I'd expect them to use Jackson (or another black actor) in that role. But I also think CA is much more iconic than Fury, so I think there would be more outrage with a black CA than a white Nick Fury. (or black? now I'm confusing myself.)
