I had the same issue today, and last Sunday as well. I don't know if it's related to the mods taking the search function offline (which I think they did last week) or if it is something else.

Derek Anderson is doing everything in his power to give his position to Brady Quinn. 5-12, 44 yards and 1 pick so far and looks awful on most throws. Saw him getting in the face of a rookie WR on the sidelines after a 1st-quarter incompletion. It's obvious that DA eats pressure for breakfast.

The accompanying story said it was approx. 70,000 beer cans and he got $800 from a recycler. Too bad they didn't have a deposit/refund program in Utah - in NYS 70,000 cans would have been worth $3,500 (if my math is correct.)

Agreed - I really like the new skin, just looks and feels a bit awkward with the board centered and the blank space on either side.

Best I can say is I was in high school at the time and working at Tops in Niagara Falls, got out around the end of the first quarter and listened to the game on the radio at home. Turned it off at halftime, but morbid curiosity made me turn it back on, and listened the rest of the way. Also recall being pretty ticked when the NFL denied one of the local affiliates the right to re-broadcast the game a few days later.

Is there any way to make the new skin stretch to fit widescreen displays? The board is centered on my monitor with about 1 1/2" of dead space on the left and right.

Well the plan was to use it as a coaster or shred it (nice industrial-strength shredder my wife's company provides for her home office) so I wasn't planning on watching it. Just wondering why I got it in the mail (I'm not a registered "R") and wondering if anyone else had actually taken the time to watch it.

According to this article (from two years ago) the Ducks have 384 possible uniform combinations, when you factor in shoes, socks and helmet colors. I don't know how the heck they find time to practice or gameplan when they have that many uniform choices.

Always fun to see Florida fall on their faces. Although I'm sure they'll climb back in it and get close enough to give Urban a chance to campaign his way back into the BCS Championship Game...

OK, did anyone else get this DVD in their newspaper or in their mail this week? It was in my mailbox yesterday, and I have no idea what it's about, how they got my address/info, or why they sent it to me. I'm reading some stuff on Google News about the DVD and the group that distributed it -- The Clarion Fund -- but was wondering if anyone took the time to watch this DVD, or knows anything more about it than I've seen so far.

Sorry. I just call 'em like I see 'em. Avril is cute and borderline hot when she actually looks feminine, but she belongs in a discussion about "the most beautiful woman in her prime" as much as RJ deserves mention in the "greatest QB's of all time" debate.

Probably because they waited so long to get the seats out and make them available for auction. Now the rest are dripping with mold, mildew, asbestos, rust....

Unless there is an option that I can change, that isn't the case in my Firefox browser. If I hit / all I get is a single box that says "quick find." No other options, and when I search for a term that appears in multiple spots, there is no highlighting of every instance, no next or previous buttons, nothing. And wouldn't it be one less keystroke?
