  1. If it were two scores - absolutely do. Just curious - do you really think the defense is going to pitch a shutout the rest of the way to keep the deficit at two scores?
  2. Because he didn't get sacked. Doesn't matter if he was inches from being sacked - he wasn't sacked. He threw a TD pass. Besides, . (NSFW) Seriously, I'll take points any way we can get them. 87-yard bomb or a 11-play drive.
  3. The second TE got hit the anti-JP crowd started licking their chops and sharpening their claws. All their pissing and moaning is moot anyway, until the fugging defense stops playing their 2007 form and starts getting off the frigging field, especially on 3rd down. Az is 4-4 on 3rd down so far.
  4. Yelling the same things from my living room, John...
  5. Some of our kickoff return blockers need to just head up field, get a hat on someone and stop looking for McKelvin. That's twice in a row that he's run into a Bills blocker who was looking back for him.
  6. Maybe at some point we'll upgrade the center position. Maybe. Not holding my breath, though... Doesn't matter if every lineman falls down and five guys are in the backfield. It's always going to be JP's fault and pointing out someone else's !@#$ up is always going to be "making excuses."
  7. Friedgen's teams are like Tommy Bowden's teams - always inconsistent. Frankly I don't see why all the hype about Ralphie. With the exception of 2006, his teams haven't shown much. He had three big years when he first got there, going a combined 31-8, but in the four years since he's had one winning season (06) and is 25-23 coming into this year. And they got spanked by Virginia today, 31-0.
  8. And MSNBC.com, CNN.com, FoxNews.com, ABCNews.com....
  9. Lots of secluded, undeveloped spaces and lots of lakes and bodies of water around that airport. Lot of possible places to dump a body... Where's the shaking head smiley when you need it? Also - she's now officially a "suspect" in her daughter's disappearance.
  10. Some people will find a way. Blind hatred and all that, you know...
  11. Until these various "Power Rankings" by national writers determine who gets into the playoffs and/or Super Bowl, I think I'll pass on being outraged.
  12. Nice that she was banging one of the sheriff's deputies involved in the investigation. Or that the mother wanted to put her up for adoption but the grandmother wore her down and convinced her to keep the baby. The whole lot of them are fugged up. The grandparents know WTF happened and are not letting on and instead are playing the victim. I have no doubt of that. Orlando Sentinel has a good page set up with ongoing updates, LINK HERE.
  13. I was surprised to read it as well. I just can't find the article right now - I got to the link from the Google News site and now there are 1500+ Al Davis articles linked on there...
  14. I read an article this morning saying how Davis lost his bid to not pay Shanahan but still refuses to pay him. Apparently Shanhan even offered a compromise, saying Davis could donate the money to Oakland schools but Davis won't do that either. EDIT: Here's a different link. I haven't found the original story I read this morning, and this one doesn't say anything about the status of the appeal. But since I read the other one this morning said that Shanahan has essentially given up hope on getting the money or the Oakland schools getting the money, I guess the appeal didn't work in Al's favor. Mike Shanahan has won more regular-season games than any NFL coach over the past two seasons, but one battle he feels he'll never win is a financial dispute with his former boss, Raiders owner Al Davis. That's why Shanahan, coach of the 9-2 Broncos, has given up trying to collect the $250,000 he says Davis owes him under the contract Shanahan signed to become the Raiders' coach in 1988. Though the league has ruled in his favor, Shanahan this week will ask that Davis instead donate the money—plus interest—to the Oakland Unified School District. "It's a lot of money, but I'd rather see it go to the schoolchildren of Oakland," Shanahan says. "It's time to move on." The $250,000 is what Shanahan says he was due when Davis fired him four games into the '89 season. According to Shanahan, Davis told him the money would be forthcoming—unless Shanahan took a job with the Broncos, for whom he had worked as an assistant before being hired by Davis. When Shanahan objected, he says Davis told him, "If I don't want to pay you, it'll cost you more money going through the court system than the money you'll get from the contract."
  15. No, the idea of the PPP board getting so crazy that DC Tom killed Molson and found it easy to dispose of the body...
  16. Boy, someone's panties are really in a wad, aren't they?
  17. Count me in the camp of those wholly unimpressed by Copeland Bryan thus far.
  18. In the "Most Beautiful Woman in Her Prime" thread which was inexplicable derailed by the additions of Kari Byron and Avirl Lavigne....
  19. You want to see bad body language and reaction after mistakes, watch the replay of the Browns-Bengals game. At least twice Derek Anderson got into the face of his wide receivers on the sidelines, and had to be separated from the WR. I think he's losing the confidence of his offense.
  20. Clemson - a lot of talent, mediocre coaching.
  21. At least they had the decency to fire the guy and move on. Lane Kiffin goes to work every day wondering if his keys are going to work or if he'll find his stuff boxed up at the guard shack....
  22. Nothing to base these on but my own observations, but I think we've seen less audibles over the last couple weeks. I also think that at parts of yesterday's game Trent was coming to the line and checking one side of the defense, then scanning the other side (looking left, then right) but would only check each side once. So he would make his read looking left and once he turned his head the other way, the defense would change the formation a little - usually bringing up a blitzer. He either needs to get some help from his receivers or needs to keep scanning back and forth.
