  1. You and me both...
  2. I think you linked the wrong article. The one you posted doesn't say anything about Edwards' INTs and Hardy's name never comes up. I think this is the article to which you were referring... This has become apparent as Johnson has earned more playing time in recent weeks. In fact, the only time Hardy was noticeable against Cleveland was early in the first quarter when he was the intended receiver on Edwards' second interception. While no one on the team has confirmed this, there is a chance that Hardy ran a poor route on that play, which may have led to the interception. After that, he was barely on the field again, which further opened the door for Johnson. FWIW, the article also kicks around a couple other things that have already been discussed on this board, namely that Hardy has never learned how to adjust routes because his coaches at Indiana didn't coach him on that, and how he is still really learning how to play the position.
  3. Looks more like he's trying to smoke out all the JP fanboys so he can "set them straight" about JP and update his little hit list of posters with man-crushes on JP. So far I think that includes The Dean, beerball and Flbillsfan#1.
  4. The place where consumer threads go to die.
  5. Sure, why not. Doesn't mean I want to see him in the NFL ever again or as the QB of my team.
  6. I figured we'd be on the same page there.
  7. Damn, that's sad news. I was really hoping he'd pull through. RIP, Tom. Thoughts and prayers to his family and friends.
  8. And if he does go somewhere else and play well, most here will still refuse to acknowledge it.
  9. Here's a vote for Rick Ankiel...
  10. You say coachspeak, I say spin and BS from Jauron. "Yeah, statistically he's not playing as well, but hey, he's not regressing in his studying." Brilliant.
  11. Could be. Why wouldn't he loathe those arson-loving volunteers? After all they get a sexual thrill from starting fires....
  12. Only if he sat on the bus next to a janitor and talked to him like he was an equal.
  13. Not to mention how many have been injured or killed in those soccer fan scrums in Europe. But hey, complaining about it makes you a kitty.
  14. No way. Trent looked scared for most of the game. Didn't try to throw downfield, looked skittish in the pocket and had happy feet.
  15. I might take some flack for this, but I really like the curvy Christina Hendricks from Mad Men.
  16. Disclaimer - I like JP and still hold out hope that he can be an effective QB. When the switch to Trent was made, the thing I wanted most was that the coaches stick with TE through thick and thin, so he doesn't have to look over his shoulder, wondering when he's going to get pulled. But when I saw Trent look genuinely scared in the MNF game, I was disgusted and wanted them to get Trent out of the game to figure out WTF was going on in his head and get him back where he needed to be. If we see that scared look again, DJ needs to get him out of the game ASAP and help him get his head screwed back on straight before sending him back out there.
  17. It really boggles my mind to see that there are so many people defending a career loser so vehemently. Maybe it's time to look at that 13-3 year for what it really was - an aberration - and realize that he is an 8-8 coach at best and most years, a 7-9/6-10/5-11 coach who is in over his head as a head coach.
  18. The "Lossman," "loserman" and "Lostman" jokes never get old, do they?
  19. That naked bootleg from earlier in the year might have worked out of the formation they were in...Cleveland would have never seen it coming.
  20. You might not want to be correcting someone's spelling after misusing the phrase "coming out of the chute" in another thread. I'm just saying.
  21. Looking at his numbers on Yahoo Sports, it looks like he is 179/216 inside the 50 - 83.9%. Inside the 40 it shoots up to 92.3% - 132 of 143. I think he does a pretty damn good job overall, considering the Ralph is one of the toughest places to kick.
  22. Right, because that's exactly what we're saying - Dick should have run right over to Hardy after the coaching fugged up the end of the game and spend an hour with him. That's exactly what we're pissed about. Jauron ain't the only coach on the sideline, and Hardy was benched before the half. So Jauron, Turk, Tyke Tolbert - no one could pull him aside for 30 seconds and say "this is what's going on, and this is why we're giving Steve more reps?" Give me a break.
  23. Sooo...you'd bench Lynch after his first 100-yard game of the year and his 177 yards from scrimmage?
  24. Soooo...you're tired of the team rebuilding and your solution is rebuild some more?
