Nice, thanks. I'll have to give them a look before the holidays.

Favorite 80's or early 90's Pro Wrestler?

Always calling for the 5-count after the Bundy Splash. -
I don't know why this is even a discussion. Regardless of how some posters want to spin or control the debate, the facts are in, and they point to one conclusion - Jauron is a loser coach along the lines of Wayne Fontes, Rich Kotite and Pete Carroll. Period.

Good call, Steely...a little scantily-clad distraction is never a bad thing.

Cripes - what is the matter with people?
Bmwolf21 replied to stuckincincy's topic in Off the Wall Archives
EXACTLY. I mean no kidding, 99% of the posters on here aren't going to go to WalMart in Black Friday and behave like savages and !@#$s, and they don't need extra rules to keep them from hurting someone. No schitt. And I agree completely that it sucks that stores need to mitigate that risk and prepare for people to act like complete morons. But obviously the people who went to WalMart on Long Island were the types who DO need extra rules and security to ensure that they didn't hurt themselves or others (like the poor store employee) and WalMart obviously knew there was a chance that something bad could happen, since they consulted with police and added security personnel and put up barricades. -
Edwards & Losman debate finally over?

He's actually not bad in the booth. I've caught him on a couple college games this year, and he's pretty good. -

Whatever. Other stores seem to be more proactive and don't seem to have the kinds of problems that Wal-Mart has, but it must just be the animals running into the store. Can't speak for you, but IMO completely absolving Wal-Mart of any blame is completely asinine. But I guess I don't see the world in such black-and-white terms. -

I wouldn't mind her being in town, but that is not Tebow's GF. The girl in that pic is model Lucy Pinder. This similar-looking girl is supposedly Tebow's GF. -

Reading comprehension is not your strong suit, is it? Don't misinterpret this as letting the people who charged the store off the hook, though - they are responsible for their actions. But WalMart has to take responsibility for not having a better plan in place and for not anticipating these kinds of risks. Every other store sets up extra rules so this kind of thing doesn't happen - Best Buy, Target, etc all did the ticket vouchers for sale items? What I'm saying is that Wal-Mart sure as hell could have done things differently to help make sure that people didn't stampede their door. -
So you don't think Andy Reid would be a big improvement over Dead Dick? Because that is the standard right now. Anyone you can think of that would be a big improvement over Dick needs to be seriously considered.

Then I'd have to ask why it seems that this stuff seems to happen more often at Wal-Mart and not other places like Best Buy, Target, etc., who coincidentally issue tickets for the big sale items so there isn't a stampede? By not coming up with a better procedure for selling those "hot items" Wal-Mart is helping to create an aggressive atmosphere, encouraging people to use prison rules to make sure they get a big-screen TV. Don't misinterpret this as letting the people who charged the store off the hook, though - they are responsible for their actions. But WalMart has to take responsibility for not having a better plan in place and for not anticipating these kinds of risks. -

Dead-on accurate. Maybe he surprises everyone and does make a successful leap into the NFL, but I don't see it happening. -

Marty Mornhinweg watch begins...

Fixed, because currently the cheapest, crappiest retread in the league is actually under contract with the Bills. -
I don't know. After the way these guys got everyone's hopes up with the 4-0/5-1 start, only to kick us in the collective balls, I think I'd rather deal with a 2-14 year than another Jauron-tease 7-9 year. At least with a 2-14 year you have no expectations and/or delusions of grandeur. Instead we get teased and allowed to get our hopes up, and then after another ridiculous loss we have to listen to more bullschitt spewing out of Dickie J's mouth.

A Few Thoughts About The Game

What Would You Guys Think About...............

Not saying I agree or disagree, but if this statement is true, then he would still be a huge upgrade over Dickie J. -
The "Official" Bills Gameday thread!!

I'm pretty excited that someone used the term "should have" and not "should of." Kudos to John. -
While I doubt that we run the table or even win 4/5 down the stretch, I just can't get past the fact that we started 4-0 and will likely not make the playoffs. No matter how hard I try to spin a good run down the stretch, I can't call that outcome a success.

When Crowell gets released it will be due to the fallout after this strange situation surrounding the timing of his knee surgery and subsequent placement on IR. His "ongoing knee problems" (which caused him to miss all of one game last year) may be a contributing factor but it won't be THE reason he is gone. And not to pick nits, but coming into the season he's missed a grand total of 5 games in three full years as a starter. Again, that's not "can't stay healthy," at least not in my book.

Cripes - what is the matter with people?

NEW YORK – Police were reviewing video from surveillance cameras in an attempt to identify who trampled to death a Wal-Mart worker after a crowd of post-Thanksgiving shoppers burst through the doors at a suburban store and knocked him down. Criminal charges were possible, but identifying individual shoppers in Friday's video may prove difficult, said Detective Lt. Michael Fleming, a Nassau County police spokesman. My favorite part: Kimberly Cribbs, who witnessed the stampede, said shoppers were acting like "savages." "When they were saying they had to leave, that an employee got killed, people were yelling `I've been on line since yesterday morning,'" she said. "They kept shopping." You just trampled a man to death, but it's all about you. Every one of them who rushed in deserves to spend time in prison. LINK -
^^What he said. Pretty sure it's 500 posts before you can change.

Trying to stay on the field and play through a nagging injury rather than shutting it down is not the same thing as "can't stay healthy."

Nice poll choices. The stories that are starting to come out about Weis' arrogrance (asking a HS football coach if he wants to take a picture of Weis' Super Bowl rings, his cockiness toward Terrell Pryor and his coach, etc.) are making me question whether he "gets it" enough to turn ND around. (In interest of full disclosure, I grew up a ND fan. My grandfather got me watching them, because the woman he married after my grandmother passed had children who lived in South Bend and went to ND. So some of my earliest exposure to college FB was watching it with my grandfather. I still follow them, but am a Seminole thru and thru.)
