  1. Kind of interesting pattern: Lynch has (so far) 1 TD/game and his average TD runs are 15 yds. (21 yds vs SEA; 11 vs JAX; 14 today). Have we even been in 1st and goal this year? kj
  2. And Peterson is over 100 yds already for Vikes (Yikes). kj
  3. Good players make those around them better (or something like that). And so look at what has happened to Josh Reed so far today. kj
  4. But bc their oline is in bad shape, maybe the Bills will blitz less? Stroud does his thing (i.e., flattens the guard, throws the center over his shoulder, says 'boo' which sends the blocking back running for the locker room, etc.) and the other DL are able to bring enough pressure with just 4 that the Bills can use a LB to prevent getting burned by the screen or other short passes, or a QB run. (Usual disclaimers apply--I don't know what I am talking about, etc. etc.) kj
  5. His 'phat butt' IS the other 15%. kj
  6. Randy Moss said it was a dirty play. kj
  7. A different team, a team that is not as well coached in return game, that is holding 3, 4 times over. That got my heart rate up. kj
  8. He isn't bad, I agree. What struck me was how not huge he looks: tackles always seem like such abnormal human specimens. kj
  9. Who do you think they are, the Patri*ts? kj
  10. Given your screen name, I assume you mean the 1890s. kj
  11. The Bills make the playoffs. kj
  12. Watched a few minutes of a Cleveland local news station's sportscast last night. The first Browns' news was about the need for help in the secondary. The guy said the Browns would be looking to acquire someone soon. Just piling on. kj
  13. Probably the greatest time-saving discovery of my recent history occurred last season when I realized I could forgo almost everything written in the media (esp. the nat'l media) about the Bills, in favor of Lori's previews before the game, and Bill in NYC's reviews afterwards. If only I had something worthwhile to do with all of this time I've got on my hands. kj
  14. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2008/writ...akes/index.html Ross Tucker weighs in at CNNSI: I think Tucker overstates the case, though. kj
  15. I think a lot of people are assuming (hoping?) Favre is going to stink it up as a Jet and show his age. Sure it could happen that way, but I think it just as likely that he has a year or two in him yet. He was pretty darn good last season. I would rather be facing the Pennington Jets than the Favre Jets. On what basis are people projecting a steep decline? Because Rich Gannon went that way? kj
  16. Dare to dream, Phins. Dare to dream.
  17. your results have 6 more wins than losses; they should be even.
  18. oh, that makes sense. thanks.
  19. does anyone know the point of the drill shown in pic#5? Where Matt Murphy is diving in the air with his hand extended towards some pad held by the coach? http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/multimedi.../content.5.html just curious. kj
  20. No. He's just sitting on his couch now, a Hanging Chad. kj
  21. The second thing you should do is post about it here on the Stadium Wall. kj
  22. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2008/writ.../20/mmqb/1.html (edited for punctuation) kj
  23. 'Bill* Belichick*, serial cheat.' Say it often enough and that will become his epigram. I suppose he would explain away his involvement in an adulterous affair, too: "I didn't enjoy it that much." kj
  24. What's it like to root for a serial cheat? kj
  25. Is that where Donahoe works now? kj
