  1. If they made a The article should also mention the Colts kick return game: It says they spent money to improve special teams and they had nothing on their returns. Nothing. Preseason or no, that is a concern for a team. kj
  2. If this offseason has proven anything, it's that there is nothing that we can all agree on. kj
  3. Couldn't get past this. Was there something about football in there too? But seriously, thanks.
  4. I really like this guy. It was only one play, in a preseason game. But it was a test, and he passed. kj
  5. Acc. to this link, Goodwin played 17 snaps on offense and 8 on ST. Among WRs, only Terrell Sinkfield (who?) played fewer. http://www.buffalorumblings.com/2013/8/12/4613512/bills-44-colts-20-offense-defense-special-teams-snap-counts kj
  6. Neither was I, tongue in cheek. Do you really think I was arguing that Luck and RGIII aren't special talents?
  7. Well if they had two of them last year, then they can't be 'once-every-twenty-years' type of rookies, can they? kj
  8. I thought they looked strong too. Particularly liked the kickoff after Goodwin's TD return: the Colt KR wanted to answer Goodwin and returned a kick 6 or maybe 8 yards deep. He didn't make it to the 10 yard line. That was just great to see. Kick returns were well covered all day.
  9. These are fantastic. Can we expect some from tomorrow as well?
  10. Bradham anyone?
  11. The Bills sweep the Patri*ts this year--and those are the only two division wins for the Bills this year.
  12. Lots of talk about Kiko (not complaining) but I'm wondering how Bradham has looked.
  13. I remember thinking last year that they waited too long to shut him down, for precisely this reason. From reading others' observations (didn't make it to camp), he was clearly not going to be a factor and the best outcome was IR, while the worst was a lifetime of potentially disabling pain (which may still be waiting for him). kj
  14. Can't figure out how to link to twitter, but: Joe Buscaglia ‏@JoeBuscaglia 29m S Duke Williams held out of practice with concussion like symptoms.
  15. I want a "know-it-when-I-see-it" confirmation that we have a quarterback. I don't follow the numbers too closely in season (W-L aside). But I want the sense that he is an honest to goodness quarterback when I watch him play, one that allows the coach to gameplan to take advantage of his skills, rather than trying to cover his weaknesses. One who isn't a good story waiting for skills that will never develop. That would be success for me. We haven't had that in some time. Bledsoe, I guess. kj
  16. This was not the work of a lone doormat. kj
  17. Could it be the way the somewhat unorthodox 'basketball moves' (for lack of a better term) he uses to get off the line?
  18. Okay, this is NOT a smartass question: If they aren't stopping the flow to fix the problems when they happen, when do they fix them? It just seems that something needs to be done immediately for any effective fix to happen. kj
  19. I like the 'pass to score, run to win' comment, if it means what I think it means. But I would also like to have an offense that can come out of the huddle on 3rd and a couple and just beat the snot out of the DL so the 1st down is a gimme for the RB. Sometimes you beat them by surprising them with schemes and sometimes you beat them by overpowering them, even when they are expecting the play you are running.
  20. I think his beer has a gang tattoo.
  21. If I wanted to know if I was eating well, I would look at what was on my dinner plate before I looked at what was in my toilet.
  22. Thanks! No kidding, I feel like I learned something here.
  23. You're over thinking this.
  24. Not sure what to think of 'friskiness' out of Buffalo. Either as a snarky comment or as a legitimate description of the Bills offense.
  25. Poll? I'm voting turd sandwich all the way.
