I disagree with you. On a lot more than etymology, but for now, just etymology. I looked it up. Oxford English Dictionary (the one that traces the evolution of a word's meaning) disagrees with you.
I'm a parent. Not a hypothetical for me. When my kids are to the point, not too far away really, where they feel they are ready for sexual activity, I hope the last thing that enters their minds is whether their pleasure makes me happy. Honestly, I can't imagine expecting my kids to run what gets them excited past me first. That's just creepy, frankly.
