  1. Of course the Betamax aren't worth much since they took the tvs out.
  2. Mario doesn't want the gays checking out his gatorade?
  3. D521646 or whatever that is: My bad for responding to your exhaustively documented treatise on the etymology of the term without supplying my own citations. Doing so implied that you didn't know what you were talking about, when in fact the links that you supplied in your post prove otherwise. Yes, I should have followed your lead and provided proof of my assertions concerning the meanings of this word. Or at least I could have pointed to a reputable source on etymology to support my claim, as you did. Otherwise I am just talking out my ass. Oh wait. kj
  4. I disagree with you. On a lot more than etymology, but for now, just etymology. I looked it up. Oxford English Dictionary (the one that traces the evolution of a word's meaning) disagrees with you. I'm a parent. Not a hypothetical for me. When my kids are to the point, not too far away really, where they feel they are ready for sexual activity, I hope the last thing that enters their minds is whether their pleasure makes me happy. Honestly, I can't imagine expecting my kids to run what gets them excited past me first. That's just creepy, frankly. kj
  5. They fired Chud b/c he wasn't 'their guy.' And now Pettine is in the same boat.
  6. I don't care whether he chose to be gay or was born that way. To debate this only makes sense if you believe that being gay is a pathology that needs a medical explanation. For this young man it just is. And this was awesome. http://ftw.usatoday.com/2014/02/michael-sam-gay-university-of-missouri-tribute/ kj
  7. Jared Lorenzen challenged Kiko in an eating contest. And nearly won.
  8. Aren't all chaps assless? Otherwise they'd be pants, right?
  9. Is he any good? (Don't watch college ball, and not qualified to evaluate even if I did.)
  10. Maybe if the Bills draft him, this board would finally, finally, retire the term 'Dolfag.' Also, this seems relevant: http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/05/03/vince-lombardi-accepted-gay-players-on-his-team/ “And if I hear one of you people make reference to his manhood, you’ll be out of here before your ass hits the ground.” kj
  11. Theirs or ours?
  12. From the comments at OP's link: Quarter Got Back. That is some funny stuff.
  13. Tells me everything I need to know about my understanding of this game right there. Did anyone come close? Glancing through, it didn't look like anyone had a severely lopsided prediction. kj
  14. Interesting read on a team that folded after losing its first game in the NFL in 1921, the Tonawanda Kardex, named for an office furniture company there. I believe the Ken Crippen quoted here is a regular here. http://www.psmag.com/navigation/books-and-culture/the-nfl-team-that-only-survived-long-enough-to-lose-1-game-tonawanda-kardex-73499/ kj
  15. I'm of the (really really uninformed, and wishy-washy) opinion that the Bills should explore the possibility of spending another draft pick, possibly high, on QB this year. That said, I wish EJ had responded by asking how TG would feel if the BuffNews brought in some new people to upgrade its sports desk. kj
  16. Thumbs up for a truly great one!
  17. Jim Kelly would have punched him.
  18. To be fair, we also saw some incredible displays of inaccuracy from EJ. Very up and down in that area. kj
  19. http://www.theatlant...ispensary/8240/ If the Patri*ts had won, would we be looking at Blount's Blunt? kj
  20. Denver 34, Seattle 17
  21. And it prevents us from being in a situation where we reap the problems that come from the Browns sinking organization. Let them scan Craigslist for a secondary coach.
  22. Worst case scenario right there. We are reaping the problems caused by CLE's muckup of a coaching search. Now that their coach is in place, he can at least fill out the defensive staff by taking everyone from Buffalo with him. Leaving us to sort through the scraps.
  23. Did you read #4 on that list?
