I would imagine that the public's appetite for funding stadiums will diminish, or has diminished already, and this will be reflected in a slower increase in value of franchises. Definitely linked, in my mind. However, scarcity (there are only 32, with expansion adding maybe 2 more franchises) will ensure that the values won't decrease in almost any scenario. kj

3 passes batted down is a bad trend. The pass to the TE looked good (1st series I believe). Definitely came back to him after scanning other options and delivered it with pace.

You can't average averages. If on day 1 you are successful 100% of the time when n=2, and then on day 2 40% of the time when n=20, your overall success rate is not 70%.

I guess I think speeding while street racing is not the same as, or is not reducible to, 'speeding'. Just saying he was speeding and lost control, and that is something that could happen to anyone, significantly underrepresents the recklessness and stupidity of MD's actions. And what he was doing was a lot closer to driving drunk than 'speeding'. kj

You are working so hard to create a logical position that just isn't there. An impaired driver who crashes and causes damage or injury did something stupid and it led to a crash. MD did something stupid and it led to a crash, without benefit of a drink. The fact that no one was standing around that tree is just dumb luck. Emphasis on dumb (but apparently not drunk). He wasn't drunk or high at the time. Which just means he has no excuse for acting like an idiot. kj
