  1. http://sports.yahoo.com/news/ap-source-ryan-jackson-among-bills-coaching-candidates-172946605--nfl.html As reported by John Wawrow. Scroll down in the article.
  2. They can open camp 15 days before the 1st pre-season game, so that's July 27th. Rookies can come in a couple days before that but not veterans. I'll hunt for a link.
  3. Just received word.
  4. Jaws has Fitz at #24 and basically said that he can play at an elite level at times but his MECHANICS (footwork and throwing motion, both) are too inconsistent to keep him there. So can David Lee get Fitz to be consistent with his mechanics????? The answer to that question will be the answer to our playoff drought or not.
  5. He was in academic trouble for not taking care of his schoolwork, not because he's dumb. To put to rest all of the non-sense in this thread. Aaron Wilson ‏ @RavensInsider LSU defensive back Ron Brooks scored a 22 on the Wonderlic, according to a league source with knowlege of the result. http://twitter.com/#!/RavensInsider/status/187717555186696192
  6. That's exactly what he is....Lee 2.0, an element that the team needs.
  7. He's not a guard....you must listen to Kiper....
  8. Every team outside the top 2 is looking to trade down....the question is are there REALLY any teams that are going to trade up...maybe 1, 2 at the most
  9. If he's a special player, you take him. You don't pass up on a potential superstar/difference maker in the top 10 to get a decent starter at another position. BPA means just that. Drafting for need in the 1st round is how you get busts....whitner, mcmuffin, etc.....take the best guy, he will make the team better right away, you can never have enough elite players, even if guys played well at times at the position....
  10. You hit the nail on the head!!!
  11. While all the MEDIA has their idea of what players are, who knows what OBD or even the other teams value the players for real. With that being said I'm going to say. 1st - Glenn-OT 2nd - One of these guys, depending who is left on the board with the pick Randle/Hill - WR or Robinson-DC
  12. That's not how they measure hands. It's from the end of the pinkie to the end of the thumb across, not from the wrist up to the end of the middle finger.
  13. RT had the K-State game won in overtime with a great 4th down play to extend the play and throw a TD pass then on the 2 point play he hit Fuller in the chest for the win and Fuller dropped it. If you actually watched the A&M games you will see how many balls his receivers dropped this year. Just want the Senior Bowl stuff this past week and you'll see how many balls Fuller was dropping there. A&M doesn't have 2 top flight WR's on their roster. Fuller is a shell of his 2010 season and Swope is a good college slot WR but he had his share of drops this year as well. Fuller had one good game all year and it was the bowl game. RT did make some ill advised throws, turning the ball over but he also made a ton of throws that most QB's cannot make. Most talented QB make ill advised throws because they trust their ability more then they should and only experience can help in this area. RG3 did it a ton early in his career and still did it this year as well. He got away with a lot of throws because the DB's dropped some balls but he was out of his mind for some of the throws he made. RT would definitely benefit from another year as a starter to work out some of the bad decisions but to blame the loses on him, is ridiculous. He's the guy that got them the huge leads in those games. The defense allowing teams back into the game and the offense going into conservative mode in the 2nd half was the real issue, costing Sherman his job. Tannehill would then be asked to turn it on at the end of the game to get the lead back. There is no slam dunk at any pick and it's mostly a crap shoot but you can't deny that he was a major factor in A&M winning their final 6 regular season games last year and he's not the sole reason they lost games this year. If Nix/Gailey believe he's a frachise QB then get him. It's a good situation to sit behind Fitz and be brought along the right way to become a franchise guy. During Nix's career he's been around Namath, Kelly, Brees & Rivers, if he thinks that RT is a franchise guy, who are we to argue.
  14. Actually Manning didn't win anything. Danny Wuerfel and Florida won everything while he was at Tennessee, but who is the better pro QB????? Moore is closer to Wuerfel than he is Manning.
