  1. I don't disagree that Lynch isn't a first round caliber RB (especially considering how all-world the other RB taken in the first round is....sigh...) but what I find humorous is the love affair some people have with Fred Jackson. His numbers since week 2 rival that of Anthony Thomas. This team has so many issues as is that we cannot afford to address running back with any free agent signings or draft picks. Let Lynch play out his contract, shifting more carries to Fred Jackson (which, considering his age, might not be a good idea). In the mean time, develop the freakin' O-Line so both of these guys can actually find a hole to run through. Here's a newsflash people: BOTH OF THEM ARE PEDESTRIAN RIGHT NOW. Our running game stinks and the platoon of street agents we have filling the line is a great reason why.
  2. Note to self, rescind registration to Billszone. Unless I'm looking to get my lollypop licked by BillsCountry.
  3. Sure, but falling in love with a 29 year old running back that had two good games and hasn't done jack since...that's the right idea.....
  4. Yeah! Let's cut him! It's not like a coach like Mike Shanahan uses a running back platoon effectively with incredible results! /SARCASM
  5. Wow...the board's first confirmed rooster-sucker.....this is a watershed moment. As for Wood, here's to a speedy recovery big guy. This team needs you. At center.
  6. Regardless of what his performance was in those two games (even though statistically he had games that Trentative, Cash Money JaMarcus, and "Pick ME!" Quinn dream of), he is in an ideal situation in Philadelphia. He is behind an established starter in McNabb and a coaching system known for developing young QBs well. There is no immediate pressure for him to come in and play great, so he can take time to learn the game. When he does come in, he comes in behind an established offense with a very solid offensive line. He is in the ideal situation to succeed. Something Oakland, Cleveland, and Buffalo can't offer any young QB.
  7. Careful now...If you backpedal a little more, you might end up in Toronto...
  8. Wrong-o! Kevin Kolb of the Eagles will turn out to be the best QB from that draft. In his two games starting for the Eagles, he showed more talent than anyone from that draft class, including Trent Edwards. He's got smarts and a strong arm and will be the #1 QB for the Eagles after a solid grooming by one of the game's best in McNabb.
  9. He did ask the reporters if there would be a special midnight screening of New Moon: The Twilight Saga tonight....
  10. Harrell is currently the 3rd string QB for the Saskatchewan Roughriders....I don't know what that says about his talent level.
  11. At work and all of a sudden one of my co-workers from our Kansas office emails me: Subject Line: "Your prayers have been answered" with an ESPN link... I click it and.....great googily moogily...Thank you Jeebus!
  12. Between this guy and SouthGeorgiaBillsFan's ability to butcher math, I really have my doubts about the Georgia public school system....
  13. Jim Mora - no one here would annoy him with talk of playoffs...
  14. Consider me appeased as punch!
  15. If it comes out in any way that TO somehow convinced management to fire Jauron then instead of vilifying him, fans of the Bills will probably erect a gold statue in his honor in front of Ralph Wilson.
  16. In today's media world, players are often the last to know because of the need for the "message" to the players to be ironed out. By then they've already seen it on the internet, texts, etc.
  17. Well said Matty, I remember 49er players saying that the minute Singletary was put in charge every player in that locker room (save for Vernon Davis) knew you do not mess with Samurai Mike. The man's legend on the field was probably bigger than his play but he immediately got the mix of fear and respect. Not to say Fewell won't but I'm guessing this mess of an offense doesn't respond to anything so he's already got an uphill battle.
  18. I think the firing comes on the heels of outright mutiny by the players (specifically the defense). Things were coming to a head and Ralph had no choice but to can him now before the whole thing explodes and into the national media. We already had TO and Reed blowing up on the sidelines, Donte calling out the offense, Schobel questioning the direction...it was reaching a boiling point.
  19. Kind of puts it into perspective how out of touch Jauron was with reality huh? Enjoy you're millions for your 24-33 record. And thanks for leaving us with: "It's hard to win in the NFL". THAT'S the quote you'll be remembered by for eternity.
  20. I'm so happy that you're right!
  21. OH YES!!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YwEMxYggoKQ WOO HOO!
  22. That game made me numb....I remember thinking about how I was going to get to whatever city they were going to be in (I think Baltimore) for the playoff game, making travel plans etc. thinking it was a foregone conclusion that they would beat the bench Steelers....ugh...
  23. Trent Edwards Career...Time of Death - 1:59 pm.... Bag him and tag him folks...bring on the next victim of the Buffalo Bills!
  24. Because he's not a fan of the Buffalo Bills....
  25. Good gravy, I can't wait until this debacle of a season is over... On the plus side, looks like I'm getting my case of beer from Dog a little sooner than expected!
