  1. Here's a question...would Tom Brady have been able to get the Bills into field goal range with 50 seconds on the clock? (Just a hypothetical question, not criticizing Trent in a major way...just pointing out that our QB still has a ways to go).
  2. So after McKelvin fumbled, Dick pulled the entire D off the field except for him and he alone gave up the 32 yards for a touchdown? Keep grasping at straws.
  3. I got the Bucs as a W, but Drew Brees is going to pick our Tampa 2 apart! The Saints D sucks but if we're going to get into a shootout with the Saints, we're going to lose. Its going to be up to the front seven to put pressure on Brees but I fear we're going to see a lot of what we saw Brady do against us tonight. Exploitation of the soft zones.
  4. The build is natural...I use steroids for speed enhancement and to improve my vertical. As for Trent, I think tonight showed that there's a great QB in there but like I said, he just needs to trust his receivers to make plays. Chucky pointed out on the 3rd and 3 that the receivers were in single coverage with the blitz coming and Trent needed to just step up, throw the ball and let Lee or TO make the play. There is no question Trent can move the ball quickly and he worked the screens and check downs incredibly tonight. But I want to see more throws like the one to TO at the end. The one that had zip, that was high and into double coverage so that TO HAD to make the play. That's the Trent I want to see more often. Hopefully, we'll see that next week.
  5. The Steelers are rolling the ball down the field, Ben completes a huge pass to Hines Ward who, instead of going down and taking the knee, fights for a few extra yards and coughs up the ball, negating a chance to run out the clock and kick the game winning field goal. The look on his face is major disappointment...he knows he's screwed up. He goes to the sidelines and what do his teammates do? They walk up to him and reassure him it'll be okay. Game goes to OT and the Steelers still win. Good teams find ways to overcome mistakes like the one Leodis made. That would have been the time for anyone on the Bills D to register a huge sack on Brady, or pick off the pass in the endzone. Instead, we give Brady another tale to add to his legend....
  6. I agree. One thing about Dick is in three years (and four offseasons), he's yet to instill a killer instinct into his players. There doesn't seem to be that belief that "YES, WE CAN WIN AND WE CAN BEAT ANYONE, ANYWHERE". Hence, you get these collapses that happen. I don't think the team believed they could win this game...it's like they were thinking "holy sh--, we're winning?!? Okay, okay, calm down...what do we do, what do we do...?" The D looked like deer in headlights as Brady dissected them on the last two TD drives. He scored the same TD TWICE!
  7. By far the best player on the field tonight for the D. Right up there with Freddie for player of the game for the Bills. Him and Maybin are going to be fierce. Here's hoping Kelsay isn't out for too long because the D's pressure evaporated with him leaving. He did a good job of causing a nuisance so the Aarons could do their job.
  8. As a registered Dick Hater™ I can safely say there's no way to pin this loss entirely on him. The only decision that turned out to burn them was putting in a green tackle in Bell in a major game like this. He alone cost us three or four drives with stupid penalties. And at the end of the game, he was a turnstile. As much as this pains me to say this, Dick actually planned a good game. Not his fault the D and special teams managed to f#ck it up for Trent. Trent left the field with an 11 point lead...when he came back they were down 1. WTF?!?
  9. Now come on...I for one question whether or not Trent can be our answer at QB but "coward"?!? THat's not fair. He played EFFICIENTLY today. Next week, I want to see him make more throws like the one to TO at the end of the game. The throws that require you to TRUST your receivers. That's the most frustrating thing about Trent. You know there's an all-world QB in there, someone needs to get it out!
  10. The checkdown worked very well today, as did the screen, but good gravy, you've got TO and Lee Evans.....USE THEM. The reason they dropped the first passes thrown their way is that they forgot what a football looked like. It was Fred Jackson, Fred Jackson, Fred Jackson. I love the guy as much as anyone but COME ON. USE TO and USE EVANS.
  11. Or Jauron, I can see him taking the fall for it. Crappy coach but classy guy.
  12. After 28+ years of being a fan...I'm all cried out...
  13. Some of you people sound like the losers who blamed Steve Bartman for the Cubs missing out on the World Series. Yes, he f###ed up big time. But there were other players who f###ed up as well. The Bills D took a perfect time to let Brady march it up the field and score TWO TDs when a cohesive unit would have found a way to stop the Pats and get the ball back and redeem Leodis. They had their chances on D to stop Brady and they didn't. If they don't give up a 3 minute TD drive then Leodis' kick return is moot. The only people I'd lay off of is Jauron, Trent, the O-line (minus Bell, but there's talent there) and Maybin and Schoebel. The rest are all guilty on this national collapse.
  14. I'm f#cking crushed right now....this team takes away the will to live... Just so embarassing...
  15. That train of thought can apply to all of us!!! Wow, what a start. I have never wanted to be so wrong about something ever!
  16. If you read the end of my post, I stated it would be nice if he came out and said: "yes, the odds are stacked against us, but I believe in this team and I believe we can get it done." You think Vince Lombardi ever told the media he was worried about his opponent. It's a show of weakness.
  17. Would you like me to bring up his coaching record instead? He sure is a swell fella, but I like my coaches to achieve this rare thing called WINNING. You think Rex Ryan comes out before yesterday's game and says: "Well, we got a rookie QB and Houston has a fierce front four, golly gee willickers I'm kinda scared about today!" Straight shooter or not, it's LOSER TALK. And after three years of this moron, I'm sick of it.
  18. The difference is that in the handful of games that Singletary has coached, he's already proven he's better than Jauron. Including beating him.
  19. On playing the Patriots... "It's not going to be easy, there's no doubt about that," Buffalo coach Dick Jauron said, "so there's a lot of worry." http://www.tsn.ca/nfl/story/?id=291087 Just oozes of confidence doesn't it...? Now compare that quote to what his own players like TO and Freddie say... For once, just once, I'd like this skeleton to say something like: "The odds are stacked against us, but I believe in this team, we're going to surprise people." Even if its not true, at least inspire the team and the fans for freakin' sake!!!
  20. Buffalo Bills: Embrace continuity....
  21. It's hard to win games in the NFL.
  22. Billiam, I think you, I and a few others are the only ones who truly believe NO PLAYER can thrive under Jauron's system. His inability in FOUR YEARS to find a suitable OC, a defense that prides itself on how long it can keep the opposing team's offense on the field before they score and overall ineptitude in preparing his offense to play a 3-4 defense to me speaks volumes of how this team will never be successful under this idiot. How many of you honestly think Belichek had any worries about going head-to-head with Jauron tonight? Stop blaming Trent, or the young O-line, or Evans or Lynch or Whitner....none of these guys will amount to anything under Jauron.
  23. You forgot to add..."because we'll have a new head coach!" *fingers crossed*
  24. That first half looked a lot like the first half of a game a certain QB had against Cleveland on the national stage....
