His numbers as a BILL speak for themselves...but he's not a Bill now, he lost his job and he's moved on to find work elsewhere. Why are we still mocking a guy who didn't act like a dick while he was here just because he failed? It's akin to getting let go from work and having your co-workers mock you after you're let go even though you were nice to everyone. It's just mean-spirited and stupid. Jason Peters on the other hand...

His work on SNL was golden...especially the United Way ad... http://www.gametrailers.com/user-movie/pey...l-united/160489 You know he ad-libbed the "go to the porta-toilet line!" and the "why are you looking, get back inside!" The writers were amazed at how naturally funny he was.

It's because he's the antithesis of their team. He's humble, classy in victory and defeat, exudes a team concept, looks like a real student of the game with a passion for it and he's got a sense of humor about himself to boot. Compare that to Brady (deadbeat dad, more concerned with his image than a Hollywood star, cocky, arrogant, a piss-poor loser, etc.) and you can see why Boston would hate him. Because deep down they wish they had him instead.

Doubt he takes the bet, "bug" and his ilk are your classic Internet tough guys who talk big on a message board but wet their pants and cower like a kitten in the corner when confronted. I love how they get their rocks off hating on a guy who failed as a QB. They're knocking a guy who made millions playing a game they don't have the physique/intelligence/ability to play. I think it eats at them that by high school, JP probably slept with more women than they will in their entire lifetime. For the record, anyone who creates a "Edwards Still Sucks" post after he's no longer a Bill is a f****ng loser too.

Between this and making Bill and Marcia his b**** last night, I'm really starting to like Peyton.

I think TO has met his match in Trent

Remember that Evans vocally campaigned for Losman to retain the starting job over Edwards. I think they're relationship is strained to say the least. -

Remember that our idiot head coach decided on giving each of them different days off so they wouldn't work with each other and work on their timing.... -
I think TO has met his match in Trent
Heels20X6 replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I just said he would be starting next season because he has a year remaining on his contract and our new coaching staff won't be retards and rush our new first rounder in until they groom him. That being said, Fred Jackson almost beat the Patriots...not Trent and other than the first drive (capped by FJ throwing the TD) the offense sputtered. You cited two examples of Trent playing "well" but forget to mention the other 5 games where he looked horrendous. Here's the bet....Trent will not be a starting QB 2011-2012 season when his contract with the Buffalo Bills expires. Bet is one case of beer. -
Like Harrison said, Belichek basically sent a message to his defense that he didn't trust them to win the game. I hope this begins a slow and steady decent into mediocrity for the Patriots and team turmoil. Couldn't happen to a classier coach...and by classy I mean a total piece of sh**.

Trent will play next year, only because the new coaching staff will want to groom our new 1st round QB and not throw him to the wolves. Trent will then happily check us down to another losing record but we will have optimism and hope because our new coaching staff has us in the right direction...with Trent as a back-up QB. Sorry Dog, Trent doesn't have "it". He lacks emotion, he's easily rattled when he throws an interception and even his team (starting with the defence and now moving to his receivers) are starting to quit on him. Josh Reed quit on him yesterday and yelled at Jauron about Trent missing the obvious on reads. JOSH REED. Trent's outlet for the past three seasons had enough of Trent's sh!tty play. He's done. Damaged goods. Your statement about how a new regime will fix him is the same thing all the Losman-iacs said when the rest of us knew he was done too. I'd be willing to bet a case of beer that Trent only starts when other QBs get hurt and he'll never be a successful starter in the NFL. That kid with moxie who played with poise is gone. Jauron sucked the skill right out of him and made him a modern day Ryan Leaf. -

Aaron Rodgers and his ability to take a beating and play great in the cold weather of Lambeau takes exception to this statement. Not all California QBs suck, just the ones our idiots draft. -
A Few Thoughts About The Game

My word....he's seen the light! HALLELUJAH! HALLELUJAH! My only concern now...of the draft class of 2010, there doesn't seem to be a sure fire stud QB like a Manning or even a Matt Ryan... -
Bud Adams flies the double bird at Bills
Heels20X6 replied to timstep's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I heard Jauron got so angry and upset with Adam's "salute" that he wrote a very strongly worded letter to state his displeasure. But then cooler heads prevailed and he decided not to mail it. The act of writing was enough to sooth him. It's hard to mail letters in the NFL. -
Did you see the end of the Jags-Jets game? The Jets give up a huge gain with under two minutes to go and no timeouts so they decide to let Jones-Drew run it in for the easy TD so they can get the ball back with a minute or so remaining. Jones-Drew runs for the first down and then takes the knee on the 1!!!! BRILLIANT!! Jags run out the clock and kick the game-winning field goal with no time remaining. You think anyone on this team has the smarts to do that?

A Few Thoughts About The Game
Heels20X6 replied to Bill from NYC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He's busy...him and Big Cat are working on their podcast together listing all the positives from the game Jauron coached today.... Sadly it takes them a week to come up with the two minutes of material. -
My favorite moment of the game is seeing that classless puke Belichek run off the field as fast as possible with his bodyguard/lover tossing any camera man in his way to the ground. All we needed to make the moment perfect would have been Whitney Houston's "I will always love you" playing in the background. Lose Patriots lose....the tears of your fanbase sustain me.....

^^^This. I'm just numb to this mess now. I hate Dick Jauron so much I fight horrible thoughts in my head regarding his well-being...thoughts like "I wonder if TO accidentally hit him with his car if people would really be upset?" -

Dressing Byron Scott to play MLB because you're either too proud or too stupid to put Maybin in that position.

A Few Thoughts About The Game
Heels20X6 replied to Bill from NYC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Any thoughts on our gutless quarterback's performance Bill? My opinion is his play is getting the defence to quit. They are getting tired of throwing it all out there just to watch Fat Van Pelt's Pop Warner offense go 3 and out. I'm officially done with Trent Edwards. There were times he had 4 or 5 seconds to get rid of the ball and he'd get happy feet and check it down, get knocked down or get sacked. It was pathetic. This O-Line is absolute garbage but they gave him time to do things. -
