  1. Why would the WIFE OF A COP fear any "consequences" from Marshawn Lynch? Does Lynch have a reputation of beating people up and shaking them down for money?!? That and Marshawn is too stupid to have the word "consequences" in his vocabulary. This story stinks to high heaven. But it's obviously enough ammo for the "Lynch Mob" to work with.
  2. Hamburger University seems to be dropping their minimum requirements these days huh?
  3. Bruce McNall was the third (he was the owner of the LA Kings). The whole ownership thing fell apart because McNall was charged with insider trading (I think..I know it was a white collar crime) and ended up losing all his money and going to jail. The end result was all his assets had to be sold including his ownership in the Argos. Since Gretzky and Candy were 1/3 owners, the new ownership group wanted 100%, so they had to sell. Candy was as hands on as you could get with a team. He LOVED owning the Argos. He traveled with the team, watched from the sidelines in frigid outdoor Canadian stadiums. He was great for the team and the league. I remember meeting him at the Pancake House in Winnipeg before a Bombers game. One of the nicest, most affable people I have ever met in my life. I still laugh at when, during the CFL Awards Show, while the President was prattling on about the state of the league, he sauntered up behind him holding a sign that said: "Argos Season Tickets? Call Me: 1-800-CANDY-ME" Crowd was howling.
  4. Let's nail him to a cross! ...or can we wait to here from any eyewitness accounts of what happened? Let's see we have... 1) The teammate at the table 2) The scores of other people eating at TGI Fridays 3) The actual staff of TGI Fridays I think for the sake of Lynch that he needs to pull a Cedric Benson and just leave Buffalo. Because of his self-inflicted reputation, he is always going to be a target of anyone with an ax to grind in this po dunk town. It's not worth the headache to him, the franchise, or the fans...move on Marshawn.
  5. Isn't it Zucker and his brothers that are churning out those horrendous xxxx Movie movies (insert: Epic, Disaster, Date, etc.) They've been on a crap tear since Scary Movie 3....someone needs to stop them.
  6. On behalf of Canada we apologize for Celine Dion, Jim Carrey, and Nickelback.... We still cool?
  7. Billick sucks! His teams had all those talented players! /STUPID HYPOCRISY DISPLAYED BY SOME TBD POSTERS
  8. You have NO idea what you want do you? So if the Bills can't hire Bill Cowher or Brian Billick (because you know, they do have the ability to say no to the job) then the Bills should hire Jim Haslett, Herm Edwards, Jim Mora (Sr. or Jr.), Romeo Crennel, Eric Mangini or give Dick Jauron another go because you so desperately want them to hire a "name" coach. And how has Frazier not proven himself? He's been the D coordinator of one of the top defenses for the last FOUR YEARS. What do you want him to do? Take the Las Vegas Locos defense and have him blank the Patriots??!? Would that "proove" it to you? If hiring Frazier or any other top coordinator (Russ Grimm, Ron Rivera) over a retread like Jim Haslett is enough to make you quit the Bills then see ya. Nobody will miss ya.
  9. I'm glad the internet wasn't around when Bruce Smith was racking up DUIs and Jim Kelly was groping everything that moved on his wild nights on the town. The reh-tards around here would have had us running every HoFer the team has had out of town because we're all perfect saints and demand no less from our young players!
  10. You know who also sucks? Cedric Benson! Chicago sure made the right call running that loser thug right out of town? What has he been up to?
  11. Well put... For some in the reh-tard rodeo, if we don't get Cowher, we might as well just hire Perry Fewell. Because being a part of Jauron's loser staff and having the one of the worst run defenses over the last 4 years is much better than having a guy who comes from one of the top teams in the NFC, the architect of one of the league's best defenses and is considered by most in the league to be the best coordinator to fill a HC vacancy. But no, let's just contrive Frazier's career with blanket statements like: "he plays the Tampa 2 - it sucks!" (Not accounting for the fact that DJ put the WORST personnel to run that D here in Buffalo) "he benefited from having great players!" (yeah, because Cowher / Belichek / Parcells...they use street free agents and practice squad guys to win Super Bowls) "he has no HC experience" (Jauron has tonnes, so does Mangini and Romeo Crennel and Herm Edwards...should we hire them too?) Some people have to realize that Cowher and Billick HAVE THE FREE WILL TO SAY NO TO THE JOB.
  12. Leslie Frazier >>>>>> Brian Schottenheimer. Just because your dad was a good coach doesn't mean you'll be one too. See: Mora, Jim - soon to be fired AGAIN. We go with Schottenheimer Junior consider me out for next season.
  13. It'll be nice to see if a REAL coaching staff can use both Lynch and Jackson effectively. In my mind, Jackson's the 1A but I still have concerns about his durability at his age. Lynch should be the change of pace back but also get enough carries so that Jackson has fresh legs all season long. (And...PLAYOFFS!!?!1!)
  14. What does this have to do with Bill Cowher?
  15. In all fairness Dean, the original poster did do us all a favor and post his relative IQ as his forum name... ...though I think "33" might be stretching the truth...
  16. I was told I could find some information about Bill Cowher here....
  17. Aren't they though a year removed from NOT making the playoffs?
  18. I think I got it.... DEAN IS JOE LOGAN!?! He obviously had to stop posting on this forum the minute he became connected to Ralph's inner circle. I think I'll celebrate my genius with a Cherry Coke...
  19. I always thought Saunders was thought of as "the" offensive coordinator of the NFL....like he was some sort of sven gali and has a massive playbook. I think the size and scope of his offense is what caused him problems in Washington under Spurrier, no?
  20. Yeah...Whisenhunt, Tomlin, Sparano, Mike Smith...man those guys all suck diddily uck! Worst head coaches ever! Who hired those loser coordinators??!?
  21. Exactly Billnut....the reh-tard rodeo is in full effect because the Bills haven't announced after four days of being allowed to do a FULL coaching search that Bill Cowher and Mike Shanahan are having a slap fight in the hallway to determine who will be the new head coach of the Buffalo Bills. Here's some fun facts for you the Chicken Little Brigade (credit: DC Tom) 1) The Bills ARE interviewing experienced head coaches like Cowher, Shanahan and Billick. Even if they offer them $100 million and a harem of 40 virgins, these men still have the free will to say NO to the job for whatever reasons they want to...I know..crazy right? 2) The Bills are INTERVIEWING the best coordinators for the head coach position in the event they cannot woo one of the big "names" out there. People like to call that DUE DILLIGENCE or in layman's terms "not putting your eggs all in one basket". Can you imagine the internet eruption there would be if the Bills let everything ride on Cowher, he waits and waits and waits before making a decision and we don't have a plan B and have to rehire Perry and his staff?
  22. This is the greatest thing I have ever read in the history of ever.
  23. Speaking of ridiculous posts....what does the number of rings Cowher has have to do with my argument that just because a head coach has had previous success that said coach MUST be the head coach of the Buffalo Bills? The crux of my argument against all these pantywaists in an uproar over AN INTERVIEW is that someone gave both Billick and Marvin Lewis a chance to be a head coach in the first place. Had I known I was going to strike a sensitive nerve on the President of the Brian Billick Fan Club, I probably would have chosen my words differently... This Billick / Cowher or BUST mentality some people have around here is going to lead to some massive disappointment if the Bills don't hire either one of them. Me, I'm going to give the benefit of the doubt to our NEW GM and see how the offseason and training camps go before I nail him and the new head coach to a cross. The rest of you can resume building your bomb shelters for if/when the sky falls....
  24. I would love it if Frazier gets hired by some other team and the lot of you b****ing about him getting an INTERVIEW go all 10-year-old girl on us and start crying hysterically about how the Bills 'lost' another candidate.
  25. Can you give a compelling argument as to why the Bills shouldn't INTERVIEW (not hire...INTERVIEW) one of the top defensive coordinators in the league without sounding like a hysterical little girl?
