  1. What I was comparing was the reaction of each of these players to their mistakes, not the actual crimes themselves. Like someone else pointed out, Donte showed remorse for his actions, took his medicine and wants to use himself as an example for other players in the league. Vick on the other hand paints himself out to be the victim and still puts himself in stupid situations like throwing a party where someone gets shot.
  2. I really loved the guy who said he was knowledgeable because he went to an "ivy-league level" college and that he once spent a bus ride talking with a janitor. What a man amongst boys! Right now my personal fave is SouthGeorgiaBillsFan - simply because he's an absolute idiot.
  3. "Crybaby..."
  4. How's the car holding up Skoobs? Still make time to talk to Steve Fairchild?
  5. http://ca.sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=A...ondchance081210 Just an interesting read on how Stallworth has accepted his role in the death of the man he struck with his car...
  6. Nothing to see hear folks, this is the same idiot who postulated that the Bills losing was all a product of the fans. Yep, this rocket scientist said the Bills lost because of the fans enthusiasm...
  7. Let's go for 10,000 now kids! LIVE THE DREAM!
  8. For the record, for most of my time here on this board, I was a journalist too...but I covered tech news so nobody bothered to harass me...which is weird...I figured I'd be called a nerd a few times...
  9. Their agents when it comes time to negotiate contracts.....
  10. Do any of you watch the Dog Whisperer or Dogtown on National Geographic? They're great shows that show just how much time, work, and effort is required in rehabilitating dogs (and cats) that have been abused or neglected. It is NEVER a quick fix. I saw a case on Dog Whisperer that sounds nearly identical to your dog's. It took him one year of direct therapy (away from the owner) to get the dog into "normal" dog behavior.
  11. They were only 1/3 right....
  12. You and Dean both make good points. I think the fiscal conservatives chose to lie in bed with social conservatives because it was a means to an end. Which were the numbers to get the Republicans into office.
  13. What do you guys think?
  14. This makes too much sense. So naturally it will never happen....
  15. Well said. I see them doing NOTHING to curb the 50% divorce rate that this nation seems to have. Plenty of maladjusted children come from broken homes. Why don't you spend your time there and fix that first instead of denying couples the right to see if they can raise a family, m'kay?
  16. See, this is a fallacy. TRUE conservatives (not the "religious right") could truly give a rat's pa toot about gay marriage. It's the "religious right" that have somehow become the voice of the Republican party and have made this out to be an issue.
  17. I'm not the most overly religious person but can I ask why religious groups (Christians, Jews, Hindus, Muslims, whatevs) are so opposed to the term "marriage" being applied to gays? I just don't see the uproar in terminology that seems to be happening here.
  18. Quite possibly the dumbest thing I have read on this board in a long time and I've had to read most of what Hossage has written.... If it were for the will of the people, blacks would still be slaves and women wouldn't have the right to vote. But you go on thinking that bigotry is a-ok.
  19. The Buffalo Bills - Where YOU as a fan get to run out of town our first round picks! This year's special - Aaron Maybin!
  20. Favre Fever! Catch IT! http://www.tsn.ca/nfl/story/?id=329519 Apparently Brett is UNDECIDED!
  21. And he hasn't informed players like Jared Allen (who he apparently got along extremely well with), Percy Harvin or Sinorice Rice. Guys you'd think he'd let know....
  22. GG is right, we're talking about different chipsets being required to move across some of these networks. A jailbroken 3G phone will not work (under ANY circumstances) on a CDMA network unless the phone features a CDMA chipset that hasn't been "switched on" (as in many HTC global phones, that feature both EDGE and CDMA chips to cover all carriers).
  23. I know Crayonz isn't a fan, but man am I happy that Canada doesn't let these numbnuts into our country....
  24. It's definitely not a dog's breakfast!
