  1. In his defence, the Big Cat also considered Dick Jauron to be a great head coach and rallied for him so obviously there is a history of lack of mental capacity we are dealing with. Let's not be too quick to judge.....
  2. Are male reporters allowed into WNBA or women's college or professional soccer teams' locker rooms?
  3. :worthy: From now on, every time Trentative throws a 2 yarder, I will picture Admiral Akhbar saying: "It's a dump-off!"
  4. That's the point I was trying to make....it seems like Chan basically handed Trent the keys with his playcalling and said: "Impress me" to which, unless you're a Trent apologist who solely lays the blame on his O-line, Trent backed the car out of the driveway, ran over his own bike and then ran up to his room, jumped under the covers and had a good cry because of he just broke his bike. IMO, Trent looks defeated. There's nothing about the way he carries himself that says he'll be the QB we hoped he'd become in that first game against NE.
  5. I thought the exact same thing!
  6. Does anyone else get the idea that this was Trent's "open audition" with the team? Like Gailey basically said: "I'm going to make him throw to see if he's got it" to which Edwards failed miserably. Edwards has maybe two games left as the starter. His days are numbered.
  7. Actually, I was on my collegiate wrestling team.... The point I was trying to make is that there are a lot of fingers to point at a lot of people and Chan gets that. He basically said it's on him, Edwards, the entire offense. It's a lot more refreshing to hear Chan call himself and the team out as opposed to Dead Dick's "Well...it's hard to win.." BS. At least he recognizes it and knows he has to fix it.
  8. Well, Chan's using his half brain appropriately...he knows where the blame lies: "The quarterback and the head coach take the blame in this game," Bills coach Chan Gailey said. "We both understand that. We're both big boys." http://www.winnipegsun.com/sports/football/2010/09/12/15326981.html
  9. 56-10 Green Bay. By halftime we get to see why they kept Matt Flynn over Brian Brohm.... It ain't going to be pretty folks. We're just what that team needs to get their offense going. Trent will throw for 108 yards and two picks. The O-line will give up about 4 sacks. Spiller will run for 12 yards, FJ for 19 and Lynch will get one carry for 3 yards. Defense will score our one touchdown.
  10. I had some optimism after the decent showing during pre-season...now I'm just praying that Green Bay doesn't give us the first triple digit loss in modern NFL history. From an offensive standpoint, one of the most disheartening games I've ever watched. I know Clev-Buff last year was awful but at least we all knew that was the harbinger of the end of the Jauron era. This time, we were supposed to have a offensive wunderkid in Gailey and we had an offseason to fix the O-line....instead we get Captain Checkdown and this Turnstile Line. 3-4 wins would be amazing with this wretched offense.
  11. Still better than Trentative.
  12. Kevin Kolb in 4 career starts has a 300+ yard game...we're still waiting for Captain Suckdown to have his first in 3 years. Today, we were begging the loser to not tie an ineptitude record with less than 100 yards of total offense. Yeah...I'll take Kolb please.
  13. I look forward to the day I don't have to see Trent and his face that captures of mental diarrhea in a Bills uniform. Pre-season hero, regular season zero. I was at a sports bar watching the game with other Bills fans...it had gotten to the point that people wanted to see his blood. He incites THAT much hate in Bills fans...
  14. http://www.aolnews.com/nation/article/911-father-lee-ielpi-i-dont-understand-all-of-this-hate/19625618?icid=main|aim|dl1|sec1_lnk3|169823 A 9/11 firefighter, a hero who lost his son (also a firefighter) in the building collapse, simply asks both sides to not protest on 9/11 and for BOTH sides to stop with the hate... Read the comments section, its disgusting what some so-called "Americans" are calling him, my personal favorite being "Stupid liberal" being used repeatedly. It's so sad.
  15. Go RAYS! Love that the division is now a three team dogfight. If the bleepin' Jays can FINALLY build off the pitching that came through this year and lock down Bautista, the AL EAST is going to be THE division of baseball. Orioles will continue to suck though.
  16. ALL MUSLIMS HATE ZYGOTES!!!!
  17. By owning so many that they can fill in a closet? Like the poster above says...the script one does look like a dong...
  18. For a second I thought you were referring to the Bucs' creamsicle jerseys, which are all sorts of WIN. Love those jerseys! I second the OP's original saying of banning the wearing of a jersey of a team not remotely involved in the game you are watching. It drives me freakin' nuts to see some idiot wearing a Anaheim Ducks jersey to a Sabres-Sens game. I mean...WTF?!?
  19. Aye, but there's the rub. The "enemy" here is EXTREMISTS not Muslims. By denying decent peace-loving AMERICAN Muslims this prayer facility, you're actually punishing them for the sins of EXTREMISTS. American Muslims are as disconnected from extremists as much as they possibly can.
  20. You're so f####ing daft that it's impossible that this would get through your thick skull but here goes: What they're worried about is an act like this can be used by extremists as a form of propaganda to turn people to their side of whackjobness. Giving something for the hundreds of thousands of extremists out there (which is still a SMALL PERCENTAGE OF ACTUAL MUSLIMS IN THE WORLD) to rally around is dangerous. How was Hitler able to turn normal, common people towards hating Jews? Propaganda. And these nutcases can use something like this. Why give them that ammunition?
  21. As a jersey connoisseur, I have to say those 3rd jerseys with the "Buffalo" script look awful. The entire jersey just looks like a novelty Sabres sweatshirt that you pick up at Walmart made by Bulletin Athletics. Their classic logo jerseys - now that's the bees knees.
  22. I know I would. Even though I was raised a Hindu, my parents always taught me the importance of respecting other people's faiths. I guess they hoped that "do unto others as you would have do unto you" would stick with me. In all I think burning any symbolic iconography - be it a bible or a flag - is disgusting and a true reflection of the people doing it. Truthfully though, it's an act of helplessness. They feel as though they can't strike back with normal means such as debate or even a good ol' fight so they look to hurt and anger by destroying a symbol the other side holds dear.
  23. Incorrect. Though his actions aided in the RIGHTFUL acts towards USC, their Athletic Department has no one to blame but themselves. Bush was symptomatic of all the problems at USC. Numerous players getting paid, Pete Carroll's questionable recruiting tactics, their false "scholarships". USC screwed USC. Bush was just along for the ride just like everyone else on that team.
  24. + to this. The new site is great and the features are amazing. But bring back our game threads, I love them so... As for the chat room, any way we can get some scheduled chats? Maybe "An Evening with John Wawrow" or themed topics like: "Discuss the QB situation at 7:30 pm" It would be so cool if you could line up sportswriters or even Bills alumni (like Die Hard). Just a thought and I don't want to add more work to you. Keep up the great work!
  25. So hoping that an entire religion doesn't get judged by the actions of the wack jobs within them = thumbs up for beheadings... Makes sense.
