  1. As a die hard Blue Bombers fan (raised in the small town of Winnipeg), the Bombers have one of the best front fours in the CFL. In fact, their sack leader, Phillip Hunt, signed with the Eagles this year and looks to be the next Cameron Wake. If I was the Bills, I would keep an eye on Odell Willis of the Bombers. He is tearing it up in the CFL and has all the tools to be a good NFL lineman. He will sign with the NFL somewhere next year.
  2. Somewhere...Dog14787 lets out a scream in anguish....
  3. http://www.winnipegfreepress.com/opinion/columnists/were-begging-you-mr-bettman-no-nickelback-128518798.html Canadians greatly apologize for bringing Nickelback to the rest of the world...
  4. Judging by the quality of your posts, there's a lot you don't know.
  5. Isn't there a stat out there that Jackson has the lowest TD production of any starting RB in the league?
  6. That's more of an indictment of how bad our offense has been over the last few years than it is about how great St. Frederic is.... I, for one, am concerned that a "team player" is so upset that he didn't get the start in ONE PRESEASON game. If Marshawn Lynch, Donte Whitner or Lee Evans did this, he would be getting crucified right now by everyone on this board. But because it's Legendary Freddy, it's ok and he has every right to be upset, and pout about it through the media.
  7. This. It's apparent that the "Legend" of Fred Jackson is bigger than the player himself. Reading some of the rants here about how "disrespected" he is (so much disrespect that they dumped Marshawn Lynch for him), it seems like many believe that Fred is the second coming of Jim Brown. To me, he's an average RB and his numbers reflect that. His red zone numbers are downright pedestrian. He's a good grinder but the type of RB that is "franchise"? No, he is not.
  8. Even then, it's not the turf's fault it was drafted so highly. Blame the seed scout team.
  9. Man, I must be looking in all the wrong places up here...I'm trying to get a one-year deal with the Jets.
  10. I've come to believe that Big Cat is a front office stoolie. No one can be stupid enough to really believe what he does about the moves the Bills make. I mean, the guy used to write glowing diatribes about how wonderful a coach Dickless Jauron was... And I'm glad to see he's one of the few loving the Evans trade. That gives that move the stamp of stupidity.
  11. Fortunately, option #2 for the Newsweek cover was struck down by the editorial staff...
  12. I don't PEDs have anything to do with the long term damage he caused to his knees with his style of golf swing. IMO, he's struggling now because he's had to modify his swing to take the pressure off his shot knees.
  13. THIS. I've come to accept that the Bills will NEVER be good as long as Ralph Wilson is the owner of this franchise, barring some fluke season where all the stars align. I watch because I love the game and I became a fan of the Bills as a child during the glory days. This trade is terrible. Spare me the "It's just Lee Evans". The message of the trade is: "We're giving up on 2011!"
  14. Boston is a different beast altogether in that fans of one team in the area aren't necessarily fans of the others. For example, the Bruins have a die-hard following, but few of those fans have the same fervor for the Pats and the Celtics. A Celtics fan doesn't necessarily care about the Pats or Bruins either.
  15. I think this journalist sums up my thoughts on the matter. http://www.ottawasun.com/2011/08/10/a-senseless-display Three of the victims were British-born Muslim men trying to protect their store. They were run over. http://ca.news.yahoo.com/father-too-save-dying-son-uk-riots-160532753.html
  16. I have no real vested interest in the success of Maybin but if he did manage to become a great player, it would be great to see some of the heads on posters explode.
  17. Reading the article, I think this guy was planning his revenge for the child pornography discharge. I think in this case, it could just be he was Muslim, but his plan didn't have anything to do with his religious beliefs.
  18. You shall pay for this...
  19. If there was a real life "Dinner for Schmucks", I would bring you. I would prompt you to espouse your beliefs on race/religious relations in western cultures with the other dinner guests. Then I would win.
  20. Back to your manifesto junior. The world needs to hear about the non-assimilation of dirty, dirty brown people! Geography be damned!
  21. No Holcomb's ARM left the board to work on his thesis to have his ridiculous statistics measurement device be recognized by the mathematics community. This is the guy who said he had a long, deep conversation with a janitor on the bus and that made him a better person than us, that and his "ivy-league education".
  22. IMO, the only way it doesn't make sense is if this is the last FA signing the team makes. If Buddy stops here and our FA signings were Tyler Thigpen and Brad Smith, it's been a disappointing offseason.
  23. No, it was him. You can find the posts here where he links to his posts over there. He outright admitted that he was upset with how the Bills treated Trent and he was going to follow him in Jacksonville and cheer on the Jags.
  24. Maybe we're supposed to feel better paying $300 for a jersey made by a 6-year old Asian than paying $40 for one made by another 6-year old Asian since we bought it from an American?
  25. I'm a pretty healthy guy who plays a lot of sports and takes pretty good care of myself. And I find McDonald's tasty as all heck... Anything is ok in moderation. 'Cept for heroin.
