  1. Tebow must suffer for the sins of Bronco fans...so it is written.
  2. Us Canadian Bills fans hate it too. We've said it numerous times that the experience that the Ralph is 100x better than that of the crappy SkyDome. But we also hoped that Bills fans would at least show up and make it as much a home game for OUR team as possible. The prices sure suck but you can easily get over the border and back in a day and with the way tickets have sold, a scalped pair would be a bargain. I go because at the end of the day, it's a Bills game, regardless of what city it's in. It pains me to walk in there and see how pathetic the crowd is. Steeler fans travel across the country to see their team play. If they moved one game to Toronto, I guarantee it would still be sold out and filled with Steeler Nation.
  3. I fully believe that a couple of good seasons by the Bills and the stadium would be full of loud "Bills fans". Because there is nothing more than the city of Toronto loves than jumping on a bandwagon. Look at the support in their city for any time not named the Leafs. If you're good, we're going to show up, be loud and claim we were fans the whole time! That's the Toronto way! Like I said in other posts, we Bills fans can take back the Dome and make it our home game in another city. Not going isn't going to stop this from happening so we might as well make the trip up, hassle some Leafs fans, take in a peeler joint and cheer our Bills on to victory.
  4. Just gauging opinions - how do you think JP would have done under a coach like Gailey versus a moron like Jauron?
  5. At least he never said that he wasn't a fan of the Bills like the glove-wearing Mary.
  6. That guy hasn't made a decent movie since Home Alone....
  7. 40% is high. I remember the last Monday Nighter against Dallas and Jaws said that 20% of the season ticket base were Canadian and they made a joke about them bringing in the higher alcohol beer for their Buffalo friends and that's why the crowds are so rowdy. Speaking of the beer, my favorite part of being a Canadian at Bills games is the number of fun Bills fans I get to meet asking me if they can have one of my beers. Best icebreaker ever. As for people complaining about losing a home game...there are plenty of tickets left. Make the drive (I'm driving 5 hours from Ottawa if I can get out of a prior commitment) and take back the Dome! We Bills fans can make it just as loud as the Ralph if we come out in full force. Steeler fans travel all over to see their team play. Why can't Bills fans drive 1.5 hours to see the new Greatest Show on Turf?
  8. I'm not a hater by any means, I just don't get all the Tebow love and the Tebow hate. Just from what I saw, he can run the ball really well but his throw mechanics are terrible. I'll give him a few games though to see if he's capable of playing against NFL defenses before I jump on a lynch mob.
  9. I was listening to the radio broadcast of the game on the way home from the game, and they interviewed the Saint's O-line coach. According to him, they told Olin that he would be the back-up this week and he promptly walked out of the facility and the team. According to the Saints, he quit on them, and his agent is spinning it as "he wasn't feeling it."
  10. Good riddance... Mahmoud Ahmadinejad...you're NEXT!
  11. Toronto is just one lousy sports town. It's Leafs and nothing else there. As for the atmosphere, if there was ever a game Bills fans needed to cross the border for, this is it. Take back homefield. Tickets can't be too expensive as they aren't selling at all. Load up 20 buses from the Ralph and make it happen!
  12. If only Chan could call the defense too...man is an offensive genius.
  13. Winnipeg Blue Bombers
  14. And who did they beat in 2008 you miserable #@#$...if you can't see the differences in play between the 2008 team and this one, please stop watching. you're being negative for the sake of being negative and I can tell that you're just waiting for the Bills to lose so you can get your jollies telling everyone "I told you so!" this team isn't perfect but to try and extrapolate how the rest of the season will go is a fool's game.
  15. Good news is on the horizon. I can feel it in my bones.
  16. It's not a horrible idea really...shockingly, him and Fitzpatrick got along great. Both speak of each other in very high praise. He wouldn't disrupt the team because we're winning.
  17. You
  18. Han. The intergalactic tail you could score as his wingman would be legendary. Plus, think how quickly you get away from the girl the next morning! Gone in three parsecs!
  19. Sorry Buf, I'm just saying that by my standards, anyone who cheats on his wife (and according to some, he's a serial cheater) is a terrible human being.
  20. Anyone who thinks otherwise is really trying hard to defend Brett because they liked the player and what he did on the field. We have to remember that off the field, he was a certified POS. These backhanded compliments, coming at a time when GB fans are showing nothing but effusive love for #12, wreaks of professional jealousy. He was a great football player but a terrible human being. His life after the game is quickly certifying that.
  21. Really? You think when all is said and done that Rodgers won't be considered a better QB than Brett? This. If the team was so talented and so close to "winning it all", why did Brett choose to retire? And saying Aaron fell into a great team. He led a team that was missing so much of their starting line-up to injuries.
  22. You can hit any sports bar in Toronto and a) The Bills game will be on b) There will be plenty of Bills fans there (at least the ones who didn't cross over to go watch the game). Toronto is Bills territory - don't let the lousy attendence of the Bills in Toronto Series fool ya. The real Bills fans of Toronto want nothing to do with the lousy, commercialized atmosphere of those games and the overpriced tickets.
  23. I think that was the joke he was implying.....
  24. I read it as Brett was saying that Rodgers has been gifted with a really talented team and so that explains why he's been able to win a Super Bowl faster than Brett did, and is in position to win many more. I read it as Brett downplaying Aaron's achievements as being "in the right place at the right time." FACT - Aaron Rodgers is a better QB that Brett Favre. Suck it "Gunslinger".
