  1. Fortunately, option #2 for the Newsweek cover was struck down by the editorial staff...
  2. I don't PEDs have anything to do with the long term damage he caused to his knees with his style of golf swing. IMO, he's struggling now because he's had to modify his swing to take the pressure off his shot knees.
  3. THIS. I've come to accept that the Bills will NEVER be good as long as Ralph Wilson is the owner of this franchise, barring some fluke season where all the stars align. I watch because I love the game and I became a fan of the Bills as a child during the glory days. This trade is terrible. Spare me the "It's just Lee Evans". The message of the trade is: "We're giving up on 2011!"
  4. Boston is a different beast altogether in that fans of one team in the area aren't necessarily fans of the others. For example, the Bruins have a die-hard following, but few of those fans have the same fervor for the Pats and the Celtics. A Celtics fan doesn't necessarily care about the Pats or Bruins either.
  5. I think this journalist sums up my thoughts on the matter. http://www.ottawasun.com/2011/08/10/a-senseless-display Three of the victims were British-born Muslim men trying to protect their store. They were run over. http://ca.news.yahoo.com/father-too-save-dying-son-uk-riots-160532753.html
  6. I have no real vested interest in the success of Maybin but if he did manage to become a great player, it would be great to see some of the heads on posters explode.
  7. Reading the article, I think this guy was planning his revenge for the child pornography discharge. I think in this case, it could just be he was Muslim, but his plan didn't have anything to do with his religious beliefs.
  8. You shall pay for this...
  9. If there was a real life "Dinner for Schmucks", I would bring you. I would prompt you to espouse your beliefs on race/religious relations in western cultures with the other dinner guests. Then I would win.
  10. Back to your manifesto junior. The world needs to hear about the non-assimilation of dirty, dirty brown people! Geography be damned!
  11. No Holcomb's ARM left the board to work on his thesis to have his ridiculous statistics measurement device be recognized by the mathematics community. This is the guy who said he had a long, deep conversation with a janitor on the bus and that made him a better person than us, that and his "ivy-league education".
  12. IMO, the only way it doesn't make sense is if this is the last FA signing the team makes. If Buddy stops here and our FA signings were Tyler Thigpen and Brad Smith, it's been a disappointing offseason.
  13. No, it was him. You can find the posts here where he links to his posts over there. He outright admitted that he was upset with how the Bills treated Trent and he was going to follow him in Jacksonville and cheer on the Jags.
  14. Maybe we're supposed to feel better paying $300 for a jersey made by a 6-year old Asian than paying $40 for one made by another 6-year old Asian since we bought it from an American?
  15. I'm a pretty healthy guy who plays a lot of sports and takes pretty good care of myself. And I find McDonald's tasty as all heck... Anything is ok in moderation. 'Cept for heroin.
  16. No one wants to discuss it with you because you can't have a logical discussion with someone who is functionally retarded. We'd be better off trying to discuss the works of Pablo Neruda with a preschooler.
  17. Now I'm just crying for the American public education system... Quick, someone post something about Putin so he can talk about how much he hates all those slanty-eyed orientals in San Francisco. Because, "Russians are orientals because Russia is in Asia"!
  18. This. I use the money I save from buying a knock-off to buy tickets to the game. That's a measurable that we can point to and say: "Ticket sales means the Bills should stay." I've never seen a team in any sport that sold out every game relocate because the owner didn't get enough profits from jersey sales.
  19. He really is this !@#$ing stupid....
  20. 42 posts on the Jags board - all of them about Trent....
  21. That's pretty dumb. Almost as dumb as believing sticking apple slices in a Happy Meal is going to get Fatty Arbuckle Junior on the road to weight loss and better food choices....
  22. If you're a representation of the "majority of Americans", I weep for this planet. I like to believe that America's majority aren't uneducated, xenophobic morons.
  23. http://www.mnn.com/earth-matters/animals/blogs/how-peta-got-punked May I suggest one of the new Angus burgers friend?
  24. Regarding point #2, China has gotten rich because America's "idea" to use cheap Chinese labor to maximize profit essentially gave them carte blanche to rip them off. Case in point, the jerseys. The replicas (which, IMO, look cheap with their printed numbers) and the authentics are made overseas. If Ralph can go there to get his jerseys made so he can make a 2000% net gain on them while paying some college kids minimum wage to dole them out, why can't others go there and pay $40 for a not-as-impressive knock-off. Seems like the little guy is just doing what the big guy is doing and outsourcing to China.
  25. Ha! I was just thinking about how, when Trent signed with the Jags, he went over to their board to congratulate them on such a dynamic signing. I was wondering what happened to him too. Man, did he love his Captain Checkdown. I wonder if he'll own up on the case of beer he'll owe me on our bet that Trent would be a 3rd string or out of the league within 3 years (bet made in 2009-2010 season). It's too bad that TSW doesn't do an Academy Awards montage for all the "historic" posters yearly. A "We Remember" film roll featuring the best of Dog14787, DarthIce, Skoooooooby, the Hamburger U guy (still my most favorite thread of all time), and that one poster who blamed the fans for every Bills loss...it would be epic.
