You are correct sir. Disney acquired Marvel in 2009 but the Avengers was the first film they distributed. But Iron Man 2 and Thor were both developed under their ownership. And from what I gather, Disney's model with these films is to hire the best writers and directors to helm them. Those that are intimately connected with the franchise in question. They hit it out of the park by hiring Joss Whedon despite his relative inexperience. Whedon's time as a writer for Marvel was what made him a perfect choice. Hopefully, Disney will chose someone who is as much a fan boy of the Star Wars universe as Whedon was of Marvel.

Disney didn't screw up the Marvel films and the Avengers. I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt. Moreso than George Lucas, who didn't realize his best work was one that passed the quality controls of others (i.e. Spielberg, etc.) He took on too much with Episodes 1-3 because he felt he was a genius. Plus Wreck-it-Ralph looks rad.

Now this is just straight up ignorant BS. McNabb during his prime with the Eagles was 10x the QB Vick was in his prime. I bet Eagle fans will mythologize McNabb now that they'll go through their string of crappy QBs. You don't know what you've got til it's gone.

You know who also has an awful defense? The New Orlean Saints. But they have a QB that does his best to hide all their warts. Sure, they're 2-4 but if the scenarios were the same, Drew would have marched that team down the field with a minute left and won the game. That's the difference between a mediocre QB like Fitz and an elite QB like Brady or Brees.

Am I the only one wondering why our four weapons on offense are not having this pow-wow with the guy who is supposed to get them the ball? Somewhat telling that they're meeting WITHOUT Fitzpatrick, isn't it?

I'm going to fly down on Saturday, walk in to the University of Phoenix Stadium sporting my Kelly throwback, then I'm going to leave the stadium about 3.5 hours later angry and disappointed and feeling like the rest of my vacation is ruined.

Geno Smith is all ours if we finish 2-14. But with our luck, he'll pull an Elway and go play in the CFL or something to avoid this mess.

I read this at work...when I got to Russell Wilson and Aaron's reaction, I lost it!!! Literally laughed out loud. Sent it to my boss, and 30 seconds later, I hear howling from his office. Whoever did this deserves a comedy award! I wish the real Eli was like this guy!
