Me too!

Toronto is just one lousy sports town. It's Leafs and nothing else there. As for the atmosphere, if there was ever a game Bills fans needed to cross the border for, this is it. Take back homefield. Tickets can't be too expensive as they aren't selling at all. Load up 20 buses from the Ralph and make it happen!

If only Chan could call the defense too...man is an offensive genius.

George Edwards needs to at least be demoted

And who did they beat in 2008 you miserable #@#$...if you can't see the differences in play between the 2008 team and this one, please stop watching. you're being negative for the sake of being negative and I can tell that you're just waiting for the Bills to lose so you can get your jollies telling everyone "I told you so!" this team isn't perfect but to try and extrapolate how the rest of the season will go is a fool's game. -
What is Chad Kelly (Jim's nephew) hinting at?

Good news is on the horizon. I can feel it in my bones. -
The Bills' receiving corps is a mess
Heels20X6 replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's not a horrible idea really...shockingly, him and Fitzpatrick got along great. Both speak of each other in very high praise. He wouldn't disrupt the team because we're winning. -
Han. The intergalactic tail you could score as his wingman would be legendary. Plus, think how quickly you get away from the girl the next morning! Gone in three parsecs!

Sorry Buf, I'm just saying that by my standards, anyone who cheats on his wife (and according to some, he's a serial cheater) is a terrible human being.

Anyone who thinks otherwise is really trying hard to defend Brett because they liked the player and what he did on the field. We have to remember that off the field, he was a certified POS. These backhanded compliments, coming at a time when GB fans are showing nothing but effusive love for #12, wreaks of professional jealousy. He was a great football player but a terrible human being. His life after the game is quickly certifying that.

Really? You think when all is said and done that Rodgers won't be considered a better QB than Brett? This. If the team was so talented and so close to "winning it all", why did Brett choose to retire? And saying Aaron fell into a great team. He led a team that was missing so much of their starting line-up to injuries.

Help - Where to watch the Bills in Toronto??
Heels20X6 replied to Roc City Bills Backer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You can hit any sports bar in Toronto and a) The Bills game will be on b) There will be plenty of Bills fans there (at least the ones who didn't cross over to go watch the game). Toronto is Bills territory - don't let the lousy attendence of the Bills in Toronto Series fool ya. The real Bills fans of Toronto want nothing to do with the lousy, commercialized atmosphere of those games and the overpriced tickets. -
Please let the Dolphins sign him...

I think that was the joke he was implying..... -
I read it as Brett was saying that Rodgers has been gifted with a really talented team and so that explains why he's been able to win a Super Bowl faster than Brett did, and is in position to win many more. I read it as Brett downplaying Aaron's achievements as being "in the right place at the right time." FACT - Aaron Rodgers is a better QB that Brett Favre. Suck it "Gunslinger".

Looks like someone just realized his meal ticket is gone.

ESPN Pulls Hank Williams Jr from tonights MNF
Heels20X6 replied to /dev/null's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I just want to point out that Hank Williams III is amazing. So Deadspin is right, talent can skip generations. On the plus side, if Hank 2 wasn't such a lousy father, Hank 3 probably wouldn't be as good an artist. -

I recall that Megan Fox lost her role in Transformers 3 when she compared director Michael Bay to 'Hitler' quite innocently. Steven Spielberg (the executive producer) demanded she be taken off the film. -
Cool story about the Bills' Kirk Morrison trading tickets and a trip to Buffalo for another Kirk Morrison's twitter handle: http://www.leaderpost.com/sports/student+trades+Twitter+handle+with+Kirk+Morrison+Buffalo+Bills+tickets/5494795/story.html

Are there any new bands that I should be listening to?
Heels20X6 replied to John Cocktosten's topic in Off the Wall Archives
If you like rock, then listen to the Arkells - a indie band from Canada that just signed a major record deal. They rock hard. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQgZ4hsCP7Q And of course, if you like the Skynard style, there is Saskatoon, Canada's The Sheep Dogs - the newest indy darlings...TSW won't let me post two videos so just YouTube "I Don't Know" by them. -
Also, what type of lifestyle are you looking for? If you like the hustle and bustle of big cities (and are willing to put up with a ridiculous amount of traffic on the expressways), then Toronto would be the place for you. There are surrounding suburbs in the Greater Toronto Area (such as Mississauga, Brampton, Etibicoke, Oakville, Scarborough, etc.) but to get to Metro Toronto, you have to take the expressways, which are amongst the worst in the world for traffic. On the plus side, Toronto is approximately less than 2 hours away from Buffalo. If you move to Hamilton, you are about an hour and 20 minutes away. Hamilton is a little dingy, but it's quaint. It's like a Canadian Buffalo. Further away is the nation's capital - Ottawa. It's a smaller Toronto and a little more scenic because of the capital buildings and parks. Much less traffic to deal with but not as much of the fun that Toronto has with its film festivals and happening downtown area. Ottawa has a decent downtown called the Market but it's no where close to Toronto's. It is approximately 6.5 hours away from Buffalo. After that there are a few towns and smaller cities, but Ottawa, Hamilton and Toronto are probably the nicest of the bunch. Places like Kitchener and New Market are if you are more into idyllic locales and quiet living. Hope that helps. Ontario is a big province so it all depends on what you are looking for.

Am I the only one who's happy with any progress this team makes this year with the understanding that this is year 2 of the rebuild? This team is building to be an every-year contender. The perseverance they are showing this early is a great sign for the future.

You must live a charmed life Eeyore. Seriously, the minging by some of you...this is year 2 of a complete rebuild. The fact we are competitive is a bonus, not a given.
