  1. I'd kill to have a Bart Scott on this team. He's an excellent player, his teammates feed off of him and he's done as much as Rex has in instilling this "Us against the World" mentality that the Jets have. They have talent, but they overachieve big time. The 2 times they've been to the AFC Championship, they really shouldn't have been there. But they play up.
  2. He had a stinker of a dropped ball that was at least a first down, if not a potential TD.
  3. We take a shot at a stud receiver next year. It was imperative that the Bills needed to shore up the D this year. Dareus was completely necessary. AJ Green is a luxury pick for a team devoid of defensive stalwarts. It's the same reason why I didn't like the Spiller pick. He could end up being a dynamic back but the Bills were in no position to take a player like him.
  4. When I was in Buffalo this weekend, I went to City Grill. Service and food were excellent and the bartender there was great to chat sports with. Really enjoyed my dinner there.
  5. The dropped passes by Jones and Freddie were brutal too. Changed what could have been 14 points into 3...
  6. Being at the game, it was frustrating watching the Bills offense at work. Receivers were there, players were open and it seemed like Gailey's game plan was just awful. As others mentioned, it felt like they were beaten before they took the field. The Bills are at their best when they are dictating the play and the type of game. It's like Gailey out-coached himself and decided to come up with the most conservative game plan possible to just keep it close. Speaking of close...why were the DBs so far off the line?!? All Sanchez did was throw 6 and 7 yards slants to pick up first downs! DBs and CBs needed to be in press coverage and instead, they were in zone. HORRIBLE. Also, Fred Jackson picked a bad game to play his worst as a Bill. The stinger may have took him off his game but he fumbled 7 points to the Jets and dropped two passes that could have been 14 for us in crucial points of the game. 4th and inches doesn't happen if he just held onto that ball on 2nd down. Think less about your contract Freddie...focus on the field.
  7. I'd like to know who is still buying their albums?!? Here in Ottawa, they had a poll placed to vote on whether the new Nickelback song should be put into regular rotation. Overwhelmingly, the audience voted 'No' at an 80% to 20% clip. It resulted in the station manager chastising the audience for giving in to 'Nickelback hate' and not supporting a Canadian band. That resulted in the best 2 hours in radio history as the station was flooded with callers mocking the station manager and Nickelback. A great day in Canadian history...
  8. Man, how lucky were the Saints to draft Drew Brees first overall in the draft? Good thing they tanked the season before!
  9. Amazing that you can tell the future of Luck's career without him having thrown one NFL pass yet...
  10. Nope. We beat the Colts in them.
  11. For Sportsnet, owned by Rogers Communications. See guys, Rogers isn't all bad.
  12. It's funny how fast everyone turned on the OP. He was probably thinking when he typed it "Man, I bet EVERYONE feels this way about stupid Dalton!" You misfired son.
  13. Beaker, because as revealed on Monday Night Raw, he is a direct relation to Sheamus the wrestler. http://youtu.be/qZiMw07ZFLY
  14. Um...mo...in NO way is Tim Hightower as good a RB as Fred Jackson. Us losing Spiller is like them losing Hightower. And besides, isn't Shanahan such a "genius" that he can turn any RB into a 1,000 yard rusher? That was his perceived MO in Denver.
  15. Dude was all over the place in TO getting toasted...nicely toasted...
  16. Tebow must suffer for the sins of Bronco fans...so it is written.
  17. Us Canadian Bills fans hate it too. We've said it numerous times that the experience that the Ralph is 100x better than that of the crappy SkyDome. But we also hoped that Bills fans would at least show up and make it as much a home game for OUR team as possible. The prices sure suck but you can easily get over the border and back in a day and with the way tickets have sold, a scalped pair would be a bargain. I go because at the end of the day, it's a Bills game, regardless of what city it's in. It pains me to walk in there and see how pathetic the crowd is. Steeler fans travel across the country to see their team play. If they moved one game to Toronto, I guarantee it would still be sold out and filled with Steeler Nation.
  18. I fully believe that a couple of good seasons by the Bills and the stadium would be full of loud "Bills fans". Because there is nothing more than the city of Toronto loves than jumping on a bandwagon. Look at the support in their city for any time not named the Leafs. If you're good, we're going to show up, be loud and claim we were fans the whole time! That's the Toronto way! Like I said in other posts, we Bills fans can take back the Dome and make it our home game in another city. Not going isn't going to stop this from happening so we might as well make the trip up, hassle some Leafs fans, take in a peeler joint and cheer our Bills on to victory.
  19. Just gauging opinions - how do you think JP would have done under a coach like Gailey versus a moron like Jauron?
  20. At least he never said that he wasn't a fan of the Bills like the glove-wearing Mary.
  21. That guy hasn't made a decent movie since Home Alone....
  22. 40% is high. I remember the last Monday Nighter against Dallas and Jaws said that 20% of the season ticket base were Canadian and they made a joke about them bringing in the higher alcohol beer for their Buffalo friends and that's why the crowds are so rowdy. Speaking of the beer, my favorite part of being a Canadian at Bills games is the number of fun Bills fans I get to meet asking me if they can have one of my beers. Best icebreaker ever. As for people complaining about losing a home game...there are plenty of tickets left. Make the drive (I'm driving 5 hours from Ottawa if I can get out of a prior commitment) and take back the Dome! We Bills fans can make it just as loud as the Ralph if we come out in full force. Steeler fans travel all over to see their team play. Why can't Bills fans drive 1.5 hours to see the new Greatest Show on Turf?
  23. I'm not a hater by any means, I just don't get all the Tebow love and the Tebow hate. Just from what I saw, he can run the ball really well but his throw mechanics are terrible. I'll give him a few games though to see if he's capable of playing against NFL defenses before I jump on a lynch mob.
  24. I was listening to the radio broadcast of the game on the way home from the game, and they interviewed the Saint's O-line coach. According to him, they told Olin that he would be the back-up this week and he promptly walked out of the facility and the team. According to the Saints, he quit on them, and his agent is spinning it as "he wasn't feeling it."
  25. Good riddance... Mahmoud Ahmadinejad...you're NEXT!
