But could that philosophy been predicated on the fact that the team was dressing scrubs in lieu of their starters. Yesterday was a perfect storm of the team injuries coming back to haunt them in a big way. I don't think Tyrod is clutch either, he's just not that category of QB. But there are very few "clutch" QBs in the league. Frankly, this is the worst lot of QBs I've seen in the league and I think it's reflecting in the league-wide malaise and poor ratings. Tyrod is middle tier in today's NFL. Average at best, slightly above or below mediocre at worst.

No, an ELITE QB can. And sadly, the NFL only has like 3 or 4 of them. Even Aaron Rodgers has struggled as he's been stuck with B-leaguers and he's elite. Tyrod has his issues, but the roster was a disaster today. So much so they thought a hobbled LeSean was a necessity.

You know why I like Von? During the post-game interviews, the media kept trying to create this narrative that his play was due to a chip on his shoulder of being picked #2 and Cam being picked #1. Every time he handled it graciously by saying Cam was a tremendous player and how Carolina needed him and Denver needed Miller. Finally, when he was interviewed by Colbert, he had a great line when Colbert asked him the same question of if he was playing angry and he said: "No, I mean, I was picked literally 30 seconds after he was! Why would I be angry?"

Yes, because we should always give the benefit of the doubt to the police. They clearly show excellent judgement in all situations. Especially off-duty in a bar.

Not to say all cops are bad, but the one and ONLY time I've been in a bar fight were with some massive a-holes that were off-duty cops who had an extreme sense of privilege in the bar they were in.
