I'd be very concerned if Whaley starts telling Rex how to coach this team. That's not the manager's job. His job is to field a team that helps his coach and if the coach doesn't make it work, find another coach that does.

That's NOT the play in question. After the ball was batted out by Chancellor (which is a legitimate football play) another Seahawk ran up to the ball as it was bouncing out of the endzone and punched it out so that it couldn't be recovered. That is illegal.

I saw it right at the time and posted it in the shout box. I was furious they called only Preston when it was clear as day someone got punched. Right in front of the rat-faced rookie head official.

What's more troubling is that you have referees who don't even assign a number to the penalty anymore and there's no replay to confirm what happened. How often do we get a "Holding Team X" and then it's off to the next play. No player called out for the foul and no replay for us at home to confirm it. The NFL is treading dangerously here. It's close alignment with Draft Kings and other "paid fantasy football sites" may start drawing attention from other parties when strange things continue to go down in games.

HE'S STILL INJURED. And he got injured on a typical football play. And there wasn't "2 really explosive plays for 20+ yards". It was 3 carries for 21 yards total. Please don't massage stats to form an agenda.

Right now, Bryce Brown is a better option.

My old D coach in football taught us that when we really needed a turnover, let the RB/receiver move up slowly a yard at a time while we (the defense) swarmed him and tried to strip it out. Looks like the Giants were taught that too. On the opposite side of the field, the O was taught to recognize this and join the swarm either pushing their guy to the ground, out of bounds or being around the ball if it popped loose.

Losing faith in Rex in these big games... The talent is there, the brainwaves aren't.

What happened to Montee Ball? Injuries? He was electrifying in his first few games. If he's healthy, I'd take a shot at him. Knowshon I know is busted. Too many hard miles on a smaller body. As for Fred Jackson, sadly, his production in Seattle is incredibly telling as to what kind of production a 30+ RB will get you, regardless of how many miles are on him.

He's Chad Pennington 2.0 Decent in that he'll win you some games, he won't lose you games but forgettable in the long run.

Marvin Lewis may be more of a flaw than an advantage at this point. He's had some great Cincinnati teams he's been unable to coach up in the playoffs.

I still have a suspicion that Rex played rope-a-dope in our first game against the Pats. Rex is cerebral enough to know that we had a soft schedule after the Colts and Pats and that the game in Foxsborough would be much bigger than game 2 of the season. Why show all your cards? Especially if there is a strong possibility that both teams will meet in the playoffs potentially. This is a good Bills team. Probably the best we've dressed in 15 years. If everything goes to plan, this will be a top 5 AFC team and a definite contender.

He's no Jake Skelton, that's for sure.

Clearly, we've all observed your posting pattern throughout the years and the Bills could create an android replica of Joe Montana in his prime and you would still find a way to whine about it.

Why? Did we need someone to fumble at the end of the game while in scoring position? Or did we need him for all those momentous comebacks he lead us on against the Pats all those years while he was here?

Except 20 of those yards came from a phantom face mask call which he didn't do and an offside where the clock actually had hit zero but the refs were too stupid to call delay of game.
