That loss to the Jags looms huge over this team now. No cushion for bad games like this. -

That half was a new low in Bills football. Getting outplayed in the elements on our own home field by a dome team. -

Just a comedy of errors. Of course we built a passing team to play in awful Buffalo weather. -

Because the dummy fell and instead of protecting the ball, decided to get up first. -

10 point swing because Mario Addison is a waste of a roster space. -

Beast Mode will be the Bills Legend of the game this Sunday
Heels20X6 replied to OrtonHearsaWho's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is my feeling too. He didn't become the legend that is Beastmode here in Buffalo, but it started here. And maybe if the team on and off the field wasn't a mess, him and Freddie could have been the best one-two punch at RB in Bills history. There may be some sour feelings amongst fans, but Jackson and Lynch are still very good friends so it wasn't anything personal about him the locker room. -
11/14/21 Gameday Thread: Bills at Jets Second Half
Heels20X6 replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
The media seems to be harping on “What’s wrong with Allen?!” when Mayfield has been hot garbage all season. Last season seems to be his outlier. -

I thought that was right in the hands too. Perfectly thrown ball. -
That's what I'm talking about...there's now a series of calls that happen where the tv coverage doesn't even bother to replay the penalty. Like we just have to take the ref's word on the call. Just don't be surprised that we find out some time in the future that there was some rigging going on. It happened in the NBA, it sure can easily happen with part time referees who don't get paid very well to begin with in the NFL. All three games I watched had some horrible, game-changing calls (the Bills "offside" that wasn't called on 4th down, the "roughing" the passer on Aaron Donald, and the "taunting" call in the Bears game). I can't physically watch that many football games, but I'm sure there were other examples.

This is what is starting to worry me. This isn't an "the NFL is against the Bills/small market teams" rant...it's more of a "there are some really, REALLY questionable calls that are happening in games that really change the outcome and it really can't all be chalked up to referee incompetence." belief. Once the NFL started partnering with bookies, I got nervous. Adding the legalized element of gambling, and having the NFL have a vested interest in its success just reeks afoul... That call in the Bears game for "Taunting" stunk to high heaven. Especially the way Corrente leaned into Cassius so as to have a reason to call it.

The Steelers loss, you can attribute to the fact that the Steelers still have a world class defense and the Bills were rusty. They answered that loss by rattling off 4 straight wins and putting up 30 points a game on average. The Titans loss, that was a great football game where Derek Henry willed the Titans forward but it took Allen slipping on the turf to negate a win. That was a heavyweight fight that looked like a legit championship game. They won the next week after the bye (albeit ugly) but they still won. The Jags loss? That was a dog's breakfast with a team that looked completely disinterested and exposed all the flaws of the roster in one single game. If that loss doesn't turn them around, nothing will.

Guys...we all know the fix is already on the roster... It's Christian Wade time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8M1Pr-cENcQ&ab_channel=EBallProductions

I hate to say it … but the Pats are coming
Heels20X6 replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
Honest question, if the Bills performed like they have the past two weeks, would you feel comfortable saying they would beat the Pats? There are obviously some "Cry babies" and the usual "I told you so, the sky is falling!" types, but there are a lot of informed fans that can tell this team is not playing remotely like a contender right now, because of some glaring deficiencies weaker teams are taking advantage of.
