You know why I like Von? During the post-game interviews, the media kept trying to create this narrative that his play was due to a chip on his shoulder of being picked #2 and Cam being picked #1. Every time he handled it graciously by saying Cam was a tremendous player and how Carolina needed him and Denver needed Miller. Finally, when he was interviewed by Colbert, he had a great line when Colbert asked him the same question of if he was playing angry and he said: "No, I mean, I was picked literally 30 seconds after he was! Why would I be angry?"

Yes, because we should always give the benefit of the doubt to the police. They clearly show excellent judgement in all situations. Especially off-duty in a bar.

Not to say all cops are bad, but the one and ONLY time I've been in a bar fight were with some massive a-holes that were off-duty cops who had an extreme sense of privilege in the bar they were in. They figure with the badge, they should be able to do what they want. Would not surprise me in the least if that was the case here.
