LOL at all the Twitter heads who genuinely believed Brock Purdy was better than Josh Allen… -
This is what people don't understand. Even if Thad doesn't get the job, he has an opportunity to make an impression. And if it's a really good one, the NFL networking could help him down the road. "Hey you interviewed Thad, what did you think?" "Man, he blew us away, we just wanted to keep consistent with our offense and stuck with Joe". "Cool, we're thinking of hiring him, thanks for the feedback".

Have any of you been in this situation before??(vague title)
Heels20X6 replied to BillsBlue's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's funny you brought this up. I've got two almost three-year old boys and they were born very premature a week after the 13 seconds game. I remember thinking at the end of that game "wow, this is the worst thing ever" and then life showed me how rough things could actually get and the reality of "it's just a game". But here we are three years later and those same boys were sitting with me on the couch, in their Josh Allen toddler jerseys, copying me while I fist pumped or cheered. This time, after the loss, I was more worried about having to break it to them in the morning as they went to bed at halftime. They'll probably know a lot of disappointment, but they're also going to see Josh Allen in his prime like I got to watch Jim Kelly in his prime. I'm just hoping they don't get the drought I did after Kelly retired. That's just child abuse. -
Mock Draft season. Mel Kiper mock draft 1.0

Did Kincaid or Shakir even drop one pass this season? -
It's my fault really...I was watching the game with my twin 3 year olds and even let them stay up past their bedtime to watch until halftime. Pure domination by the Bills. The minute they went to sleep, the 2nd half turned... I should have never let them go to bed...

Divisional Playoffs - Chiefs at Bills - Post game thread

I saw the segment, oddly enough, Skip was 100% pro-Allen. Basically said that he played a perfect game and his team let him down. The other two yahoos on the panel just ball-washed Mahomes. -
Random talking head says something about the Bills
Heels20X6 replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Mahomes had the advantage of playing against Buffalo's injury-riddled defense. Meanwhile, Allen had to play against one of the league's best and was able to create long, sustained drives with multiple 3rd and 4th down conversions. Just because Mahomes had more YAC yards, does not make his performance "better". -
We are so thin at WR...why create one hole to try and fill it with a draft pick (honestly, when was the last time the Bills drafted an elite receiver in the 1st round? (Watkins and Evans were meh) Keep Diggs and find a suitable WR1/WR2 somehow. If Diggs slides into the WR2 spot as a result, that's a good thing.

Would the Bills have beaten the Ravens?
Heels20X6 replied to Dan Darragh's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's a full 180 compared to last year when the Ravens were absolutely decimated by injuries and were playoff fodder. Now they're healthy and easily the best team in the league. They should make short work of the Chiefs. I think beating the Bills was their Super Bowl. -
Divisional Playoffs - Chiefs at Bills - Post game thread

And that's what irritates me the most about the Josh Narrative. Everyone in the media has it so that HE must carry the team at all times. No mention of Sherfield and Diggs dropping beautiful thrown balls. No mention of Brady forcing the 1st down runs every drive in the 2nd half without adjustments. Nope, Allen didn't throw an underneath to Diggs and therefore, it's all his fault. Meanwhile, Mahomes played an alright game where guys like Kelce made plays and, despite going three and out and giving the ball back to Josh with time remaining, he's the "Conquerer of the Road! Mahomes does it again!" He stunk on that final drive before punting it back to Buffalo, -

You're banking on the fact that Diggs catches that ball and makes the right play. Maybe Josh lost a little faith in him at that point after he dropped a SURE thing in that 65 yard ball of beauty he threw earlier in the drive. -

Heels20X6 replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's borderline pathetic at this point how many people in the media have it out for him. His biggest crime being that he wasn't the bust they declared he would be when he was selected. It would be one thing if Josh was spouting QANON theories on a buddy's podcast, acting like a diva, etc. but he's genuinely a decent human being. And they HATE him for that. He played his heart out. Could things have gone better at the very end? Sure. But he put the team in a position for a VERY makeable field goal to tie things up and once again, the team let him down. -
the weird thing is we got few breaks. Kincaid batting out the fumble. The touchback through the end zone. The fumble recovery on the last drive… …but then here comes a completely catchable ball dropped by both Sherfield and Diggs…then the missed kick… Team feels cursed…

I keep hoping that in this story, Josh is the Peyton Manning, just needing to slay the dragon just once before becoming a legend…and not the Dan Marino/Philip Rivers where a HOF QB is continually let down by the team around him.

We need to draft more players like Dalton Kincaid. He’s a stud and his dog mentality is what will get this team over the top. He wanted to win. He seemed like the only guy who did as much as Josh. -

What is your gut telling you right now?
Heels20X6 replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall
I WANT the Bills to win, but I'm bracing myself for the loss in some sort of Billsy fashion. 13 seconds broke me. Like I sat there stunned after the game was over for like an hour just wondering how the team could have wasted the greatest performance by a Bills QB ever. -
Pfft...Hailee's a better singer anyways...

Didn't one Pat Mahomes take his team to the AFC Championship in his rookie year? Stroud is a stud. He could hit a wall, or he could put up 400 yards and 4TDs as well. And I know this is a new year...but Lamar has yet to show he's "the dude" come playoff time. As a bettor, I wouldn't touch this game.

Personally, I want to see the trainwreck that could be if Bill Belichek goes to Dallas. The bloom is definitely off his rose but I can't see his ego not clashing daily with Jerry Jones. Jerry LOVES offense. He dreams of rebuilding the dynasty days with a team that just blows out opponents by 40+ points a game. Billy B finds his joy in winning a game 10-3 and having his defense on the field getting the job done. Philosophically, they couldn't be more different.
