  1. I'll be there. It'll be my first Bills game ever. Where's a good place to go on a Saturday night in Buffalo?
  2. At least I can look forward to attending my first Bills game ever in two weeks against the Packers. I've been a Bills fan since I was 6 but living in Manitoba made making a trip out fiscally impossible. Now, I'm in Ottawa, I can make the drive and I've scored tickets. The team may be suffering on the field but you know what? Doesn't matter, I finally get to see my boys play. I'm going to the Ralph.
  3. CLASSIC. *sniff* I miss Jimbo so much.... Though JP's development is making me forget the RJ years.
  4. My only concern is that at times it looks like our secondary can be beat with the deep ball. Grossman seems to thrive on finding a deep receiver that's downfield. Something tells me we see Bernard Berrian have his 5th straight game with a 40+ yard reception TD. That being said. A 9.5 spread shows little respect for the Bills D. Hopefully this pumps them up even more.
  5. JDG just can't admit that JP is the future of the Bills. Each week I watch him play, the more and more I'm seeing the makings of a great QB. I only wish that Jauron would let that arm go nuts once in a while. Remember that 50 yarder he threw against the wind? I'd like to see him throw a 60+ ball into the hands of Evans.
  6. Who was it that said football is a game of inches? JP steps a few inches outside the goal line in week 1, and NE doesn't get the safety that ends up the winner. If they get a few more inches on JP's bootleg, they keep the drive going, run the clock and win the game 17-6 and we don't have this discussion about lack of killer instinct. If anything the Bills showed some instinct by throwing the ball on their 2nd to last possession to move the chains and get downfield. They're young, they're winning, and they're improving. That's all I can ask of this team this year. Most "experts" pegged us at 0-4 to start the year.
  7. TKO ain't no scrub. (Oh COME ON, how could no one make that joke?!?!?)
  8. Heck...that is beautiful...I'm going to see a game there someday....
  9. Those weeks could be in dog years too... Let's pass on the 15 year old billionaire. "Daddy, it's cold in Buffalo, I want their home games played somewhere hot. Build a stadium, like, in Jamaica or something. Gawd!" And so on and so forth.
  10. Seriously. Ugly. Page.
  11. Yeah, bring back Flutie Flakes! My breakfast hasn't been complete since they took it off the market!
  12. Wow. Let's not be too positive okay?
  13. You see these hands Steve? These hands are going to choke out JP if he doesn't start playing like a first round QB.
  14. This is an open question to the board, if any one can answer this it'd be greatly appreciated. Now that I live in Ottawa, I would like to take in a few Bills games this year (seeing as Buffalo is only a few hours from here). Is there a way to get tickets from Ottawa for Buffalo games? Also, seeing as my friends are...ugh...Packers fans, does anyone know when tickets will go on sale for that game? Thanks!
  15. All heresay and speculation. Just like putting two and two together loosely and calling it "journalism". Let me run it by you how most of these guys think: "Hmmm....Philly needs a #1 receiver...Buffalo is looking to trade Moulds..." I got it: "Philly shows interest in disgruntled Buffalo receiver!" Print it!
  16. I heard Lionel Ritchie will be his defence attorney. Ritchie: "Your honor, he let the rhythm move his feet, now he's dancin' in the streets." Judge: "CASE DISMISSED!"
  17. This team needs everyone to play like Takeo does. An enthusiam for the game, an always give 100% on EVERY play, kind of attitude. Takeo Spikes rules.
  18. And Troy Aikman and Steve Young
  19. You don't know how envious I am that you can go see Bills games all season... But you are exactly correct in your assessment. This team can turn it around. The talent is there.
  20. Well said. But keep in mind that 75% of Bills Nation are more than tired of rebuilding years. They would be happy being cannon fodder as a low seed playoff team with no real chance for the Super Bowl. They would consider that progress.
  21. Couldn't have said it better myself. Me-Shawn in New York is going to cause problems too. You think Plaxico wants to play second fiddle in the media again. All the attention on Keyshawn will drive him nots. And goodness forbid if Eli doesn't give either of them enough touches. What about Shockey too? Like he doesn't want the ball all the time.
  22. It seems that Marv is going for the potential players route in building this team during the offseason. The recent signings are guys who can have the potential to shine under Coach Dick (hee hee) or the potential to be big-time busts. Only time will tell I guess.
  23. I'll accept the 'happy feet' remark but 'rag arm'? Give your head a shake! The kid has an incredibly strong arm. It's what drew the Bills attention to him in the first place. If anything, a lot of the sports commentators brought attention to the fact he was releasing the ball too quickly without enough touch on it.
  24. He's definately a character guy. When most guys on University football were out partying on the weekends, he'd be working Saturday mornings at 7 am with me at the University's day care. And in the summers he worked every year for a kids camp. He knew in his 3rd year that he was NFL bound and yet was the nicest guy to anyone who met him. He'll be a great addition. The one thing the article doesn't mention is that he only started playing football at 18. Think of all he's learned to playing at this level at 25.
