  1. I could see it with the second of the #1 picks. He is getting pushed down due to the lack of success spread qb's have had in the NFL.
  2. Jordan Matthews would be ok for another year.
  3. Darnold has been compared to Tony Romo. I have seen Rosen compared to Cutler, Mayfield to Brees. No one knows for sure.
  4. Agree with this completely. Ultimately, you want the draft choice to play fairly early.
  5. Not bad but one of those seconds would likely be included in the deal.
  6. St. Brown is not a difference maker at all. Tall and fast, just not a natural catcher of the ball. He will get over drafted. Christian Kirk is a dynamic punt and kick returner as well as receiver. Nick Saban called him the most dynamic player in the SEC. He reminds me of Golden Tate.
  7. Frazier is a good coach and very well spoken. I am sure Dungey will give him an endorsement as well. I would think Reich or Schwarz would be in a good position after Sunday.
  8. Gilmore can hit???? He can cover but by no means does he hit.
  9. Kevin Massare Sal WGR Joe Chennelly has an occasional newsflash
  10. He will go in in the top 5. He has the best arm in the draft. He will struggle like any other rookie. Good coaching and our strong running game would be perfect for him. We have no chance at him but he will be a star. Talent wins out in the NFL.
  11. I absolutely think we will trade up.
  12. I worry about Jackson's accuracy and I also worry that his thin frame will not allow for his running like he did in college.
  13. John Butler used to appear on local radio and always made it clear that they track these player at their practices and games for years but really liked to watch them perform against the best opposition. That is why so talent evaluators many like to watch the Senior Bowl practices.
  14. Payne is better than both
  15. He really loves the job, great stuff.
  16. Any Quarterback who throws 5 interceptions in a half is going to get the same reaction. He made the throws he owns them. He will get another chance though I would wait for a home game.
  17. They are the best thing that could have ever happened to Buffalo. Give it some time.
  18. The offense is 28th in time of possession, a recurring theme with Tyrod led offenses over multiple coaching staffs, receivers, lineman, etc. The team ranks near the bottom of the league in passes thrown, TD throws, throws for first down and yards per pass play. Why not see what the kid can do? Clearly sending a suspect front seven out on the field after multiple three and outs results in a disaster.
  19. A few things are fixable. Penalties on third down extended NO's first drive one by offsides, one by personal foul. After being on the field for 10 plays and 5 minutes, the offense helped them get some rest with a three and out. This trend continued through three quarters, 55 snaps for the defense and 29 for the offense (9 on the first series). One would imagine that contributed to the drive with 7 consecutive runs of more than 5 yards in the third quarter. How can the offense help? All 9 of Tyrod's completions were for less the 10 yards, a couple for zero yards. Twice short runs that could have moved the chains and kept defense off the field went for no yards and passes short of the sticks with 8 men near the line will not work. Not suggesting any of this equals a victory but it might have slowed the bleeding.
  20. WIn Sunday and this narrative changes for a week.
  21. No love for Grand Funk Railroad
  22. Milano interception was an athletic play. Unfortunately, we did not cash in after interception.
  23. Gaines has made some very nice tackles, something we never saw from corners in prior years. Also has deflected passes and stripped out a fumble the other day. I am not sure Sammy produces huge numbers in this offense with this quarterback.
  24. I think the job Dawkins has done in relief of Glenn should not be overlooked. He is holding his own for the most part.
