  1. He is not that strong of a thrower, runs a lot and gets injured a lot. Love the orange and don't see it.
  2. Most of it is manufactured nonsense, goes on whether the Bills win or lose.
  3. Good for Tyreek Hill keeping his cool. Fan should be banned, no need for that.
  4. My guess is he looks great in a practice setting. Works hard, perfect teammate. Simply panics when the live bullets fly. He is basically a rookie out there and has been overwhelmed in his spot performances. Hard to rebuild his confidence at this point.
  5. Jeff Tuel might give him a run, remember his 99 yard fumble, then there was JP Losman's fumble against the Jets.
  6. Right now he reminds me of Tyrod Taylor. Takes off to run rather than letting plays develop. Difference is Tyrod was a veteran whereas Allan is young and may well develop into to great player. I don't see the Locker comparison at all. I assume Locker was a bust so that is a convenient name to throw out there. Next it will be he's a dead ringer for Kyle Boller or the next Ryan Leaf. Growing pains are tough but I say give the kid some time.
  7. He is nowhere’s near as good as Mills. No thanks
  8. Intrigued by Hakeem Butler of Iowa St. 6'6 225 and emerging. If he can continue his recent play, he will move up. Also like Stanley Morgan, Jr of Nebraska and Boykin of ND.
  9. Benny Snell is impressive, very hard runner. Also like Travis Etienne of Clemson and Dexter Williams if he can stay out of trouble.
  10. He was selected after extensive research by the front office and McD, he is going to be the QB for a long time.
  11. Yes, I did read the article. I find college performances against Hawaii and Oregon to be less of a comparison than how other rookies have played in their first NFL games where the speed of play and level of competition is higher. The writer discusses Allen losing velocity on a throw because he did not step up when people were clearly at his feet. He also noted that Allen left a collapsing pocket rather than hit Zay Jones on a 2 yard out, look at collapsing pocket, he did what he could. I agreed with his other 2 clips, Allen needs to improve on those plays. Some good/some bad.
  12. Hopkins took some big shots. Jalen Smith ran about 20 yards and bounced him out of bounds. Hopefully, he sits it out.
  13. Peyton Manning's first 5 starts, the Colts avg. 10 points a game and went 0-4 and ended up 3-13. That was with Faulk and Harrison as weapons. Troy Aikman threw 8 interceptions in his first 4 starts. Josh Allen just beat 2 playoff teams in his first 4 starts. I think Allen deserves some time to progress.
  14. Boykin from ND has good size and great hands might be a middle round pick.
  15. Star, Kyle, Milano, Hauska and props to Ray Ray for a big first down.
  16. Assuming they continue on the same path the rest of the year, we are looking at a top 10 pick, possibly top 5. It appears the defensive lineman are going to dominate the top of the draft. Hopefully, some of the quarterbacks (Herbert, Finley) emerge to push the player we want to where we pick. I see one of Bosa, Oliver or Jonah Williams being likely additions to the Bills. Guards and Centers tend to get picked round 2, grab one and sign one.
  17. Impressed by the core they have added through two drafts, most of the young guys contribute and should improve. Specialists- Punter and kicker are both above avg. Disappointed- The offensive line is brutal. teams will keep sending extra rushers until the Bills figure out a way to stop it. Way too many free rushers right up the middle. Dawkins is not doing as well as last year. DuCasse would never start for any other team, Miller has been brutal and Mills has actually been adequate. I hope they use their likely top 5 pick on the Alabama OT and kick Dawkins to guard. Teams are crowding the line so Shady is never going to break lose until they can keep the QB upright to stretch the field. The receivers are a collection of #2, #3 and #4's. No one to put fear on a defense. Basically, the offense needs about 5 players not on the roster today to improve. Defense has been better the last few weeks. The short fields they have been forced to defend do not help.
  18. I thought Sunday was the best he has looked since he got here. He does get double teamed a lot.
  19. He gets separation, he should get better over time assuming his hands are better than we have seen. #1 receivers get 8-10 targets a game, don't see that as his role.
  20. I would recommend a viewing of highlights from the Bills vs. Jacksonville in London from 2 years ago to remind yourself of how horrifically bad EJ is/was. He has never performed when the bullets are live, Gruden likely knows that too.
  21. The best part to me is Harrington replied. Was it that big a deal to him?
  22. Phil Simms at Morehead St. finished with 409 completions in 835 attempts for a 48.9% completion percentage. Pretty sure he still holds completion percentage record for a Super Bowl game.
  23. Agree completely Wily Dog. I have a lot of faith in Beane and McDermott. Imagine they have a handle on which QB fits them. Allen has some big time skill that translates to the NFL. Will it take some time to harness like it did for Bradshaw, Manning etc. , of course. McDermott coached up a completely turned over secondary to an elite unit, he transformed Preston Brown to the leading tackler in the league (he stunk the year before). These guys made the playoffs with guys like Yarborough, DuCasse, Deonte Thompson, Milano and Brandon Tate contributing. If they pick Allen, I support it.
  24. I like this summary on Rudolph from a Jets site. Has film clips and goes into his positives and negatives pretty well. https://www.ganggreennation.com/2018/1/30/16937714/scouting-the-2018-nfl-draft-mason-rudolph-qb-oklahoma-state
