  1. Agree on Geils, one of the best live acts ever. Grand Funk Railroad deserves a chance too.
  2. Edelman got crunched pretty good. He may need time to recover. Brady will just throw it to White and Burkhead 20 times.
  3. I had the same reaction, James White, Burkhead, Michel whoever fits that weeks plan.
  4. Badobilz nailed it. I think they go after another defensive player. They love Jaylon Ferguson. I think he will be the pick if still there.
  5. Better find a way to stop the run, they ran at will the last game. Even their wide receivers were jet sweeping us to death. Need Milano back, improved play from Edmunds and defensive tackles who can get off of blocks. Oliver, Q Williams or the Clemson DT become instantly more appealing after watching that All 22. Or learn to outscore them.
  6. I like Wilkins, the rest he could have done better. I do not see them waiting until the 5th round to grab a TE.
  7. Gore is also a good short yardage/ end of game runner. You need someone who does not lose yards in those situations. The clip below shows why Dolphins signed him. "Gore’s red zone numbers rivaled the best in the business. Among the NFL’s top-10 rushers (Hunt, Gurley, Bell, McCoy, Ingram, Howard, Gordon, Fournette, Anderson, Elliot) only Jordan Howard’s yards-per-rush (4.9) in the red zone was better. In short yardage situations (3rd or 4th down and 3 yards or less to gain), Gore converted 87% of his 15 carries for first downs." https://www.lockedondolphins.com/dolphins/frank-gores-role-in-the-2018-miami-dolphins-offense/
  8. Also good at blocking punts and kicks. He is very good, more Leonard Floyd than Maybin.
  9. I thought Lindstrom was impressive in the Senior Bowl as well.
  10. Bars was thought of as ND's best lineman prior to injury. They could also have been watching Dexter Williams, the underrated WR Miles Boykin or LB Drew Tranquil who can play multiple positions and is a good special teams player.
  11. This clip shows a good breakdown of Long's strength and weaknesses from his Redskin days. http://turnonthejets.com/2018/07/toj-new-york-jets-film-breakdown-spencer-long-2017-short-form/
  12. hopefully, Wade provided a blueprint for eliminating the passes to James White. Saw very little of that.
  13. AJ Brown has process written all over hm. Like Hakeem Butler a lot too. http://www.djournal.com/oxford/sports/ole-miss/a-j-brown-whoever-comes-next-they-ve-got-to/article_38f74e7e-9fa9-57ff-9242-b9c9b1c4cb92.html
  14. Lots of interviewing and hiring goes on at the Senior Bowl. Not worried, there are only 32 of these jobs on the pro level.
  15. I think round 2 may be an interior OL after going after one of the defensive players with pick one. If Jacobs or Iowa St RB is there in 3, I am on board.
  16. Nice article with clips of Mark Glowinski. Unfortunately, looks like his best game was against the Bills. https://www.stampedeblue.com/2018/11/7/18070184/colts-film-room-mark-glowinski-surprise-of-the-season
  17. Ideally, the pick would be Jonah Williams. I don't think he makes it to 9. Too bad, the guy has process written all over him. I do like Devin White if LSU quite a bit.
  18. The thing I like about Butler is he consistently makes plays in the middle of the field. Last night he caught a ball thrown behind him crossing the field and one that was well over his head where he hauled it in one handed again in the middle of the field. The other thing like is he is a hands catcher never letting the ball get to his body which is helpful with Josh Allen's velocity. I like the guy a lot.
  19. I think the coaching fraternity is pretty familiar with each other. If he was hired away, it would be for a career of work not just this season. I am curious to see how the offense runs with better personnel.
  20. It is a better system than the previous one. I think the eventual winner is the best team be it Alabama, Clemson, Florida St or Oklahoma over the last 10 years. The teams ending up at the 5 and 6 positions squawk about the system but they are unlikely to win out.
  21. Go back and look at his performance at Florida St. or even the first preseason game, he has immense talent. Clearly, he lacks the passion at this point.
  22. With Josh Allen on the field, defenses have to cover deeper areas of the field rather than crowd up so close with Peterman on the field. Passes to the RB, bubble screens, etc have more of a chance to get something yardage wise when more space is available. Lanes for the runners are easier if the box is not loaded. Those one yard "safe" plays that resulted in returns for scores are more likely when so many people are in the same location. It also helps to have lineman and TE's that can push people backwards or even sideways.
  23. I really like Boykin, he will def play on Sundays.
