Sounds like a keeper, Rey Maualuga, ILB, USC, Aaron Curry, OLB, Wake Forest, Michael Johnson, DE, Georgia Tech and Brian Cushing, OLB, USC all would be welcome. We need a playmaker.
Both are very good. Palo is a great run defender and disrupts the offense all over the field. Reed is simply one of the best ball defender against the pass I have ever seen. No sure how either would be in our play to lose scheme.
Good for kicks but also many of those teams actually are making changes in their "inner circles" so it is impossible to read who is picking whom. Also free agency will have an impact. I am all for a TE, it would come in handy for our checkdown offense.
Sadly this post says it all. Case in point, I chuckled when JP and DJ gave away the Jet game. Just sort of fit where we were at. As a fan since 1970, there was a time I would have screamed and let that play ruin my week. After giving away the Dallas game on Monday night football last year, I have never had the same passion with this group of losers running the show. Football is a tough, violant game that should be played to win not the DJ style of playing dumb, loser football.
Well done Silver. How is it that Modrak is now elevated to the inner circle after all these years? I think the boys get together and nod their heads at whoever Lindy and Ralph say to pick.
Denver or Cleveland as GM? Pioli, Shanny, Marty, Peterson, Wolf and Holmgrem are out there amongst others, Brandon's best bet might be a call from the Lions.
Where is Brandon going to go? He hit the motherlode with this job. No responsibility or not, he is being paid a lot of money.
No other team is going to hire him as GM and no other team is going to hire DJ as head coach. So of course, they nod their heads in agreement.
