  2. Punter is a problem. The guy has costly shanks at inopportune times. Field position cannot be given away so easily.
  3. Murphy is going nowhere. He is a process guy, he sets the edge and played very well at the end of the season. I can see the extra Offensive lineman and wide receivers getting a late pick. Possibly the extra Tight End. They are not going to carry 5 TE's.
  4. He is a solid run defender which was a weakness for Wallace last year. Worth a shot.
  5. Cannot imagine we make 3 picks before picking a big guy especially if Lawson and Phillips both move on. Some great talent would be added with that draft, nice job.
  6. Moulds, Rueben Brown or Bennett
  7. I find some of the comments here amusing. Howie Long was inducted into the HOF in 2000 started as a studio host in 1995. The last 20 years of his tv exposure did not influence anything. Look at some comments about him from respected people. “He may be the most dominant force in defensive football today,” says Seattle Seahawks coach Chuck Knox. “He’s relentless,” says John Hannah, the New England Patriots’ perennial all-pro guard, now in retirement. “Shoot him in the head is the only way to stop him. If Howie’s alive and still kicking he’s coming.”
  8. He was a tremendous player, a dominant force on many playoff teams. This is the first place I have ever seen his HOF honor questioned. He was driven by his upbringing and played angry. Just a tremendous player in a different era.
  9. That is exactly who he reminds me of as well. He is a fighter with an interesting background. Definitely a process/leader type. Would not mind him a bit.
  10. This guy can play. Makes all kinds of catches at high point. I think he is better than Boykin who had a great year in Baltimore. Claypool was also a leading tackler on special teams for the Irish.
  11. He will not pass the Beane availability requirement.
  12. Give the Nashville punter some credit for that. The drive starts were consistently on a long field. Not so much with our punter. I hope that improves next year.
  13. Bench Ford? He has played great the last 3 weeks.
  14. Cook shows incredible balance, if he stays healthy, he will put up great numbers. He gets banged up a lot.
  15. This argument is dumb. He is nothing like Jauron. The bend but not break defense is not comparison to this team that gives up 14 points a game, third best in the league.
  16. You seriously don’t see the possibilities with the draft picks? Allen’s 30 yard frozen rope to Beasley yesterday was a play anyone can make? Edmunds shows no flashes ? I was pretty impressed that he stuffed Chubb at the goal line and got a sack and batted down a pass as a pass rusher. I think they both need experience to advance to the next level. In the case of Allen, a better left tackle would help a lot.
  17. That stop by Edmunds was one of his best plays as a Bill.
  18. Milano, Edmunds, Poyer and Hyde need to tackle better. As for the what if’s, Wallace was an inch away from deflecting long completion to Landry down the sideline. That one hurt.
  19. The matchup of Garrett across from Dawkins or Ford worries me, I see a lot of TE's getting action to help out.
  20. The good news is we wont see an offensive line that is so strong up the middle until Dallas. Both defensive tackles were getting single blocked and Kelce was sealing off the plays. Philly earned that victory. Buffalo was not getting off the blocks in the second half.
  21. 85 Bears were best I ever saw.
  22. The Giants have bigger problems the Daniel Jones. He got sacked 8 times and was under constant pressure. Falling behind 14-0 was not a great position to be in 5 minutes into the game. Seriously, trying to block Chandler Jones with a receiving TE was a disaster.
  23. I remember the play, like he was pushing a blocking sled, drove him straight back. I thought Ford did better. I do not think right tackle is his natural position but McDermott and Bobby Johnson must see him as the better player to keep sending him out there.
  24. The long pass down the left sideline on the Jets first scoring drive was perfect. Dion Sanders in his prime could not have stopped that.
