  1. Was thinking same thing. Looked like Bills tried multiple looks on the drive and could not stop them.
  2. Loved that run. His throwing motion reminds me of Jim Kelly.
  3. I wondered about this myself. Looking at last year as a blueprint, I think Buddy's thinking is if a guy grades as a superstar, you take him regardless of needs elsewhere. I watch AJ Green and Julio Jones and they look like pro's right now. We have Evans, Roscoe, Johnson and Easly so it is not a need but can you pass on a superstar if he is there? I would not be surprised if Mallett was the pick with the same thinking. If he grades out well which I think he will, Buddy has picked SEC QB's in the past. He would not be rushed in with Fitz playing so well. Buddy was part of a staff that took Manning/Rivers when they had Brees so he has done it before. We will not have the top pick to take Luck. The glaring lack of talent at DE, LB, RT and TE will have to be addressed. In a perfect world, Merriman can still play, Batten and Carrington are contributors and maybe Littman allows Ralph to spend some of that Toronto money to sign a Chad Greenway, then draft day could be really interesting. WR's---This is a deep draft for WR's, but I'll say it--It wouldn't surprise me if AJ Green were this year's "Spiller pick" if the pass rusher or QB they covet isn't there. I like guys who may last until RD5 in this draft.
  4. I doubt Luck is coming out and plan on a few more wins. I'm gonna hate it if this guy gets the Bills a few more meaningless wins and knocks us out of the Andrew Luck sweepstakes.
  5. Moats can play. Gotta love his post game enthusiasm as well.
  6. I think the guy has talent. He looked like the real deal near the end of his rookie season. Lack of pressure on the QB makes it difficult to judge him as a bust. He does get turned around a lot it seems. Spiller will not be a bust but he has to hit whats there rather than dance. The players on defense are faster what he saw in the ACC. Once the feet shuffle he is toast.
  7. They have tried more the last two weeks. He is showing flashes. Fitzy missed him twice last week on potential big plays. The kid has talent.
  8. I agree Fitz is not the problem but I would have to take Luck if he comes out. Further if Luck comes out, he is the guy another team is going to trade up to get. If he doesn't come out, target Marcel Dareus or Da'Quan Bowers. Take the UCLA LB Ayers at top of second.
  9. I see flashes of potential. He is always in the mix on special teams too. He is athletic and can run which is more than some other current defenders (#90). He will be a contributor.
  10. Watch the clip of some of Williams bigger plays yesterday including the sack and you will see #96 Terrel Troup tieing up two blockers. It's been a long time since a Bills lineman has drawn a double team. quote name='TPS' timestamp='1288638549' post='2023204'] Dwan Edwards deserves some credit too, as he has played a couple of very strong games and is another one with a good motor. Troup is improving as well. There are some bright spots, but the two big holes are the pass rush OLB and the Kelsey's spot. Moats was in on pass rushing situations at ROLB. If you look at Troup's stats, he is about equal to McCoy (? the #2 DT pick), but no one comes close to Suh'
  11. Chan and Buddy have been pretty decisive about other roster moves. I cannot figure the delay here other than no one else is ready to step in. Teams absolutely game plan against him. Please, Chan, I beg of you. Get this man off the field. I can't take watching him anymore.
  12. He gets manhandled routinely, and can't get off blocks. This says it all. He does not fight with his hands at all. No explosion or push into the blocker. Gets engaged and its cver. He should look at films of great 3-4 rushers Greg Lloyd, Kevin Greene or Charles Haley and see how they go all out in battle.
  13. It is pretty obvious the opposition targets the middle of the field in the passing game, particularly in the red zone. It does seem like our defenders fall down a lot in coverage.
  14. My favorite play was in the first series when Corey McIntyre blasted through and over some Baltimore defenders. #38 bings some attitude.
  15. Not Whitner's finest moment. Most of the passing td's are down the middle.
