  1. Are you saying that Tebow cannot throw the ball from the pocket? You are entitled to your opinion, which is what you are posting here. Vince Young seems to be having a pretty good run. What do you consider him? The NFL game is undergoing a change. Most teams are using some form of the wildcat. Remember, there was a time in the NFL the pass was all but considered a gimick. Sammy Baugh and Sid Luckman (and others) changed the texture of the game. I'm pretty sure there were similar discussions, then. You don't think Tebow will make it as an NFL QB. Fine. You are entitled to your opinion. I and a lot of of others think Tebow will continue to have the same success in the NFL that he's had throughout his high school and college career.
  2. I never thought much of Fewell as a DC, even with healthy players. However, he may turn out to be a better HC. Some people are better at the "Big Picture" than they are with "Details". OC's and DC's have to be more detail oriented whereas HC's need to be more big picture oriented. The Blls definitely need improvement in player selection and an OC who can maximize the strengths of the personnel. Let's see how Fewell gets the team ready for My Yami.
  3. and JJ's vaunted coaching career ended with a giant phhhhht. Since Kelly hasn't had the opportunity to act in any official capacity as a talent evaluator, it is hard to argue that JJ is better at something that Kelly hasn't had the chance to do..... yet. If Kelly were to have a track record in talent evaluation, then we would have something tangible to discuss. Me? I'll take a chance on leadership, character and proven track record....every time, until proven wrong.
  4. ....and Gruden said NO to everyone by signing with ESPN.
  5. This still seems like Craig Nall part II
  6. The NFL has seen many college pedigreed pure pocket passers with gaudy stats, flame right out. Tebow has done nothing but win his entire career. A lot of people forget that a number of colleges wouldn't give Kelly a chance to play QB. Even Penn State had him playing LB, not QB. Kelly went to My Yami and the rest is Hall of Fame history. I would definitely take a shot at Tebow. His leadership abilities would do wonders for this team, which hasn't had a real offensive leader since Kelly and to a much, much lesser degree, Bledsoe. I think Kelly sees a lot of himself in Tebow and if he thinks Tebow would be a good fit for the Bills, who on this board has the credentials to argue with that?
  7. Some people would complain if they got shot with a brand new, silver bullet.
  8. What...no "Exalted Ruler of the Known Universe" title and all the clones he wants of Penelope Cruz and Pamela Anderson? Pffffft.
  9. I think he should go back to coaching. He's awful on ESPN. He always has that snarky grin that looks like he's about to pull a wedgie on Tirico & Jaws.
  10. No thank you. He looks lost 95% of the time and his team is underwhelming.
  11. We may get surprised. More injuries, but at least someone who has a pulse, facial expressions and emotion in as interim HC. If the OL can hold up a little bit and Fitz can chuck the ball to TO, these guys may actually be able to pull this one off. Some crappy weather wouldn't hurt, either.
  12. I don't think we need THE top guy, whoever you may think that is. We need a guy who can coach, do a good job of evaluating players strengths and weaknesses, maximize their strengths, plug round pegs into round holes AND motivate them. I'd be open to a relatively unknown guy if that person was really good at those things. I'd rather have results from a sleeper than a big name coach who stubbornly insists on doing it the same way he did it back in Schmooville when that clearly won't work here. Like Mangini and Mooch, for example. I'm not against a Cowher or Shanahan etc. per se, but I don't think that's the only way to turn things around.
  13. No argument there. But TO wouldn't have had 197 yards with TE behind center.
  14. Hey. the entire team played a lot better than I expected today. I give Fewell a lot of credit. I think Fitz managed the game better than Edwards would have. I think the D is a good DC and a few players away from being really good. See...I don't B word all the time.
  15. I think they listed about 11 players that were injured.
  16. Fine. Then YOU make up for me and everyone else with some cotton candy rainbow kisses posts about the game. Until this team puts forth a solid effort, I'll B word all I want to.
  17. Because I reserve the right to crab about what I see. Did you miss my posts about how good it was to see Fewell show some emotion on the sidelines?
  18. I knew they'd throw it right in the middle of the field.
  19. It's more the Bills going 3 and out on offense with crappy play calling for the 2nd half.
  20. Has their been any attempt to put pressure on Garrard in the 2nd half? Any whatsoever?
  21. Could he have possibly been any MORE open?
  22. That's true, but the offense continually going 3 and out is not acceptable.
  23. I think you can resume your past assumptions here.
