  1. Don't look for major changes (signings) until at least after the SB. Maybe a couple of releases or firings, but not much more until after the dust settles.
  2. Agreed for the mostest part. Not sure Evans has much left in the gas tank, not that we had much of a chance to find out this season. Byrd is going to be a helluva player.
  3. The off season may seem even longer. We've got a 50/50 shot of things getting really bizarre.
  4. Best you should wait and see what happens during the off season before you start off on Brohm/Vick/Dungy thoughts.
  5. The trick will be getting the best person out of whoever is available at picking time. I don't think the Bills are going to get "The Best". I do hope that they put on their thinking caps and get "The Best Available". My real concern is that they haven't demonstrated that ability with #1 draft picks, free agents or coaches on any kind of a regular basis.
  6. Wasn't the scoop that Maybin was too light to make the same impact in the NFL that he made at Penn State, even with his speed? I seem to remember more than one article implying that Maybin needed to put on 20-30 pounds or he was going to get pushed around. The guys Maybin faced this season were just as fast if not faster, bigger, stronger and smarter than what he faced in college. One would have thought, that with all the glaring deficiencies on this team, the Bills would use their #1 pick on someone who had a more legitimate shot to make an immediate impact than someone who at the very least, needed a season to bulk up another 20-30 lbs. Maybin didn't turn out to be an impact player which seems to validate the previous articles and gives the appearance that once the Bills FO makes up their mind, they put on blinders and go full steam ahead, regardless.
  7. Hope springs eternal. I still hope next year will be different, but I'm not going to go into mourning if it isn't. Such is life.
  8. YAY!!!! The Fish are Dee Eee Ay Ed Dead, Dead, Dead!!!
  9. I'm going to see if the Texans can hold off the Fish.... L8r
  10. Yup. Been following the Bills since they came into being. Rockpile, Rich and all that. Everyone's just letting off steam. I decided years ago not to let a Bills loss ruin my perspective on life.
  11. A good perspective to have. However.... some people are pretty tired of looking at 10 years worth of "pieces" to build on. I didn't expect more than 5-11 this year and I really hope the Bills get serious about building a competetive team next season.
  12. You're not bitching or whining, are you?
  13. For me, when everything else is going to hell, I want the Dolphins to lose. Just me perhaps.
  14. Who's helping Houston? Could it be.... SATAN????
  15. No....the Dolphins are losing!
  16. God's watching the Dolphins.
  17. It's one of the few bright spots in this.......game.
  18. I'd rather see 'em go down swinging for the fences.
  19. 4th & 4, down by 24 and Fewell goes for a FG? Talk about conceding the game.
  20. He's playing better than I expected, with almost no time with the starters and a bunch of ushers for an OL. He's looking more comfortable out there. Decent arm.
