I get the sneaking suspicion that Jack volunteering for the caretaker position and receiving Reverend Jacob's communion is just a little too neat and tidy for the way this show tends to run. The fact that Jacob inferred that a name being crossed out on the cave is just some chalk on a wall, opens the door to a lot of other possibilities. So I wouldn't bet the mortgage payment just yet, that Jack is a done deal. I'm also unsure of why MIB's returning to the log flume of light would nuke the island, as well as how Jacob has prevented that from happening, given MIB's amorphous abilities. It seems that MIB/FLocke's newest evil plan is to take one last ride into the log flume of light and blow the island to smithereens (a great band, btw). That sort of implies that Flocke has given up on trying to make it off the island and has instead, decided to become a suicide island bomber. Or has he?

It seems that Gailey is going to try to make this team primarily a running team. If that's the case, AND if it's successful, the Bills won't be so dependent on the passing game. Who knows, Edwards may come back to life under better coaching. Brohm the Unknown may win the job. Johnson, Hardy & Easley may turn out to be better than we think. Gailey will have them playing solid football this year. Not right out of the gate, perhaps. But by the 2nd half of the season, the Bills will beat some teams that aren't expecting that.

Yep. The one thing I would add is, don't count on the Bills to be picking any higher in the 1st round than they did this year. Even though this is a transitional year with a lot of new faces, new schemes and new attitude from the coaching staff, I think they are going to finish up the season playing pretty damn good football, with a better record than a lot of pundits predict. So hopefully some good QB's will be available in the middle of the 1st round.

I don't think the Bills FO has any illusions about having a franchise QB in this group. The 2 possible exceptions would be Brohm & Brown and it's unlikely either one will turn into a franchise QB in 1 season. I don't even expect to see Brown on the field. I think the FO is putting the other pieces of the puzzle in place and are looking for a caretaker QB who can at least occasionally throw the ball downfield, has above average accuracy and won't cost them games. Fitz's accuracy comes & goes. When it goes, it's dreadful. Whether Edwards can get his mojo back is questionable. Brohm is an unknown. Maybe Brohm can beat out Edwards for the starting job. I don't see Fitz doing it.

He was the anti-Bush and the Democrats could have put nearly anyone up to run for president and won. Especially against the ill-conceived team of McCain & Palin. He is articulate and a good speaker. He's intelligent. But I doubt very seriously he will get reelected in 2012. I have to assume he is well intentioned, but those intentions are not playing out for him at this point. I think what he really needs is much better advice than he is presently getting from whoever is giving it.

They are a very passionate people and many wear their emotions on their sleeves. Just like several other cultures. Great people and drop-dead gorgeous women. I fell in love in Spain about every 3 minutes.
