  2. My Yami. Always and forever.
  3. All the Trent bashers will shut the hell up.
  4. Civility has taken a back seat to name calling and belittling. A sad state of affairs with Tim and Lori as casualties.
  5. Why is Woods a news item at this point?
  6. .....and as everyone knows, getting one of the top QB's in the draft is a guaranteed trip to the Super Bowl. I submit: Ryan Leaf Akili Smith Heath Schuler Andre Ware Todd Marinovich Jim Druckenmiller Rick Mirer Jamarcus Russel The best cure for losing is winning with what you've got, not playing the college QB lottery. Sullivan seems to have completely soured on the Bills. That's his right, but I see no value in him continually harping on it and I am not interested in his incessant negativity. He sees crap. I see hope.
  7. Only if you are a little girly man.....
  8. I don't think he's going to be a bust the way Maybin's 1st year was, but it is possible that CJ ends up more like Roscoe Parrish than Chris Johnson. That's not a very popular view right now, but with all due respect, that is certainly a possibility. I would doubt that he'll be even in the top 10 backs this year. Jackson and Lynch will get the lion's share of the workload so he won't be on the field all that much. Ostensibly, his value lies more in breaking big plays than in being a 1,500 yard 25-30 carries/game workhorse. Spiller the Tiller?
  9. Wow...that AFC East prediction is something. Predicting the Bills & Jets at 7-9 and the Fins in last place is a stretch. Realistically, I would say Jets/Pats/My Yami/Bills. Before I start taking bullets for the Bills here, I think that the schedule plus the other 3 teams either getting better or not suffering any substantial drop offs (plus all the usual things that have been posted to death), will make it very hard for Buffalo to climb out of 4th place this year. I would dearly love to say otherwise.
  10. Not to mention that he's dead-straight-on with that comment. Maybin should be a badass during an actual game for a change. He had exactly 9 tackles, 7 assists and ZERO sacks in 2009.
  11. Me neither. OTOH, I'm trying to remember at what point in his career, I called Erik Flowers a bust.
  12. It's a shame he didn't play like that during actual GAMES last year.
  13. Thanks for the report! It will be interesting to see what happens to Bell.
  14. People seem to lose sight of the fact that Trent was rated in the top 5 QB's after the first 5 games in 2008. Then all hell broke loose and as you mentioned, last season was a bad SyFy pilot. This will be Trent's chance to live up to the potential that he showed. He doesn't have the best of scenarios to work with considering the WR and OL questions, but I'm hopeful that Gailey will be able to get more out of him and the team than Jauron did. I certainly want to see Trent do well.
  15. Thanks Rev, but not really. It's what people should do for each other. I am proud to be a citizen of a country with people like you, your wife and your son in it. My thanks & prayers go out to you and your family.
  16. I think Gailey will rotate all 3 during camp to decide who gets the nod for starting preseason. He'll also have a good idea of 2a & 2b (or not 2b.....hep me lawdy momma) by the end of preseason. #1 guy gets to show his stuff in preseason games & only if he flops will Gailey trot out 2a & b. Winner of a vs b would get #1 and former #1 would get backup status. Of course, all of the above + $1 will get you a cuppa joe, no tip.
  17. Which is the logical scenario until the starter flops or one of the B/U's outplays him. Which is, after all, what preseason is for, methinks.
  18. Obama has done a number of things that seem absurd, IMO. And in this case, his "base" would be people who are becoming more and more dependent on government handouts and redistribution of money instead of getting off their butts and actually doing something. Not everybody, but there is a segment that would rather take than give. Those who choose to be dependent would naturally want to keep the administration that provides the handouts, in power. That has the potential to be a significant "base."
  19. Most likely (IMO), Gailey will rotate the 3 QB's as "starter" throughout camp to decide who will at least start the preseason games. This is just a looking-over process at this point.

  21. Or your lunch break. You really should eat something instead of staring at your shoes.
  22. One of the saner posts in recent memory. The job will be Trent's to lose. I doubt either Fitz or Brohm will outplay him. Fitz's misfires are cause for concern and Brohm just doesn't have (enough) game experience.
  23. May your son return safe and sound. God bless him, and you & your wife. Honestly, the Bills are unimportant, compared to this.
