    I'm in agreement with that. An experienced FA QB in the off season would be a wiser choice than what's left in the draft at this point. Get another defensive player, OL or TE in the draft.

    And IF he looks, exactly WHAT is he going to do? Tell all the producers, refineries, distributors and gas stations to lower their prices? Yeah, wake me when THAT happens. (see Obamacare) Spin it any way you want to regarding high gas prices..... They do because they can.

    I think it comes down to whether or not Nix & company think either Newton or Gabbert really is their franchise QB. If they are sold on one or the other and he's there at #3, I would imagine they would pull the trigger and not entertain a trade down. All other scenarios make my head spin.
