Well, we've got at least 1 more year of Fitz as the starter. No argument with any of your points, but I do expect Fitz to get better, I just don't think he has that much headroom for improvement. Since we didn't draft a QB, N&G will bring in a FAQB who most likely wouldn't be starting on any other NFL team, either. So we hope Fitz exceeds expectations and the D picks up a LOT of slack. Or we pray for Luck.

As much as I have loved this team since day 1, game 1, until they do something in the win/loss column to merit a higher ranking, I can't argue a whole lot with this. IF they start winning some games this season, you will see the weekly power rankings reflect that.

Bingo. Gas prices are $.20 a gallon cheaper in Fort Lauderdale than in My Yami. The closer a gas station is to an interstate entrance/exit, the more expensive it is. Ditto for downtown or upscale communities. I drive 1/2 mile from where I live and gas prices are at least $.10 a gallon cheaper, usually more like $.15 - $.20 a gallon cheaper. Same gas.

If I was a business owner (which I was), I would be using everything at my disposal to sell for as much as the goddam market would bear, legally. I would also be using your above explanation to justify why I increase prices overnight but decrease over a period of weeks if not months. So if I get back into ownership again, I will have your above post framed and mounted in my office.

Okay....so 'splain me this..... Shell station A is selling reg for $4.09 a gallon. Shell station B, a mile away, is selling reg for $3.93 a gallon. Presumably the same gas, presumably the same company. Is Shell station A paying more for their gas, or is it because they are right next to The Country Club of Miami and do because they can?

I don't think it was a horrible idea per se, just one that has more downside than upside for the reasons you mentioned. Yep, there weren't any particularly venomous tee-offs, compared to some of the onslaughts I've seen. You've been around this board long enough to know the members are outspoken, opinionated and will tee off on a post like that.
