I never did like Peter Schrager
DrFishfinder replied to Beerball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It would still bother me, even with a mountain of reasons. Chalk it up to Mr. Schrager being another irrational Bills hater and erstwhile My Yami fan. -
"Hanging" Chad Pennington was named starting QB for Miami today, beating out "The Other Chad" Henne, Josh "Ten Team" McKown and John "Missionary Position" Beck. As soon as the Jets landed Farve and dumped Pennington, it was a foregone conclusion that Big Tuna Parcells would reel him in, which he did, faster than Miami changes Head Coaches. My guess is that Beck is gone because A) he is just flat out miserable and B) Parcells loves to put his own stamp on teams and Beck is an awful reminder of last years 1-15 debacle (a sarcastic "Thanks" to the Ravens for handing My Yami their only win of the season). Buffalo has pretty much had Pennington's number and there is no reason to think that trend will come to an end this year. Pennington isn't known for his arm strength and doesn't have much to work with, the possible exception being Ted Ginn Jr. However, Pennington is familiar with the Bills and has experience in playing at The Ralph in Buffalo's notoriously tricky, wicked winters. If Pennington gets injured or flops, another Chad awaits.

Apparently Mr. Schrager likes making edible predictions. I don't think the Bills will be making a Super Bowl run, but they have a damn good shot at the playoffs. -
First Coach fired : Dennis Green

Yeah! Boy, I'd love to see My Yami punt on 1st down! -
Im sick and tired of this south of the boarder crap
DrFishfinder replied to NavyBillsFan's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I was wondering when someone was going to mention that. Took 9 replies.....Haysoos Creesto! note to Matty T: You'll probably want to take "Miami" off your vacation list. -

Maybe Huizenga will go after Denny if/when Saban leaves for 'Bama. Might as well get a retread coach to go with his retread QB's. -
Which team had the most disappointing season?
DrFishfinder replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Flying in the face of reason, logic and anything else resembling objectivity..... MY YAMI!!!! Never, EVER pass up an opportunity to slam the Putrid Porpae. AKA SQ. -
Bills swept the Dolphins (Miami Fans: That means BOTH games) Bills finished with a better record than the Dolphins (OK, by 1 game, but still.....) Bills head coach doesn't refer to media as "Enemy Combatants" Losman is a better QB name than "Lemon" JP is a better QB name than "Joey" No Bills QB has ever "achieved" a rating of 0.0 against the Dolphins (Not Even Billy Joe Hobert) No past or present Bills player has ever been outsmarted by a cow in a TV commercial Paul Castronovo can finally shut up about the Dolphins (He can, but as to whether he WILL or not.....) No college nicknamed "Thug U" in upstate NY (Bills like their players, though....go figure) Bills coach isn't secretly playing "Sweet Home Alabama" on his iPod

I haven't said this for a couple of years, mainly because I got sick and tired of listening to myself state the stunningly, blatantly obvious; over and over and over again, like a nightmare version of The Macarena that plays on every radio station you turn to: It all starts, or stops, with the offensive line. Without a reasonable facsimile of an OL, your young, inexperienced QB doesn't have time to throw and either gets killed or makes bad decisons. Not that any of Buffalo's QB's since Kelly ever grasped the concept of "Throwing the Ball Away". At least Flutie could run around like an amped ferret. And back to the OL, if they can't open holes for the running game, the QB is forced to throw (see above) and the defense just licks their chops and has themselves a feast. Now, while the QB and RB's are getting stuffed like Spongebob action figures coming off the Toys R Us Chinese assembly line, the offense goes 3 and out, 3 and out, 3 and out. The defense stays on the field longer than eternity and eventually runs out of gas like a Hum Vee with a 10 gallon tank in the middle of the Gobi Desert. What you've got is a better disaster script than anything Spielberg could ever dream of. Look at the OL Kelly had. Look at the offensive monster the Bills were then. Then look at the OL Kelly had. everything, Everything, EVERYTHING, starts, or stops, with the offensive line. And until that gets fixed, we will be looking at exactly the same results, year after year after year. I have spoken, pass the Tylenol.

Shades of Rob and Drew? Jeez, can't we find a QB who at least minored in "Throwing The Ball Away" in college? Sheesh. Or maybe another Flutie who will run around until the defense's tongues are hanging out. Hey, I've got an idea, how about an offensive line that can actually keep the defense from pouring through? How long has it been since Hull retired? sigh..... Dr. Fishfinder

Who will DJ start at QB vs Car?
DrFishfinder replied to LevysEraII's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It had better be Losman. It's time for JP to either step up and be The Good Guys' starting QB, or go play ToddCollinsRobJohnsonBillyJoeHobert for the Arena League. -
No, I DON'T know Teddy's cell phone number.
-
Kliff Kingsbury should be the starting QB

Or maybe Marv could snap up Cleo Lemon from My Yami. Hey, if he turned out to be a bust, his last name would make a perfect excuse. Dr. Fishfinder -
Do You Really Think That Marv...
DrFishfinder replied to DrFishfinder's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I tend to agree with you, there. How many times did McGahee NOT get the ball on 3rd and short or inside the 10 yard line? Trick plays only work when you are the tricker and not the trickee. -
Weirdest OC/DC combo you can come up with
DrFishfinder replied to Adam's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Political digs always welcome, regardless of their target! -
OK, like everyone south of Oz, I'm glad Donahoe is goneski and Clements is outski. And it's nice to see Marv back with the organization as well. But. Given the inexplicable play calling on offense this year, lo soooooo many times, was it: A)Clements calling the plays and Mularkey just nodding and drooling along? or.... B)Mularkey calling the plays and Clements groveling and sniveling along? If the answer is A, we'll have to see who the new OC is and hold judgement next season. If the answer is B, will Marv be able to beat any sense into Mularkey (or beat the stupidity out of him)?

OC: Charles Manson DC: Jeffrey Dahmer "Kill 'em & Eat 'em" -
He was trying to talk over Joe Theisman

Tell Sterling for me that aromatherapy is making him worse.

Some fuel for the "....And Take Mularkey With Him" Dump Donohoe crowd: Good News: 7 teams finished with worse records than the Bills. Bad News: Buffalo lost to nearly half of them (NYJ, NO, Oak). Good News: Donohoe presided Buffalo didn't have the least number of offensive plays per game. Bad News: Only NYJ and SF had less. Worse News: And Buffalo just lost to you-know-who. Good News: The Mularkey led Bills didn't manage the least yards per game. Bad News: Only 4 teams generated less yards/game (Chi, Hous, NYJ, SF). More Worse News: The Bills just lost to you-know-who. Huh? News: Bears win their division and make the playoffs (albeit in a weak division and on defensive strength, but still......) With a running back the caliber of McGahee and receivers like Evans and Moulds, offensive belly-flopping like this is virtually indefensible from a coaching standpoint. Especially when the head coach says things like, "I just can't explain it" and "The ball didn't bounce our way", which in the business world, usually buys you a one-way bus ticket back home to live with your parents until you come to grips with the word accountability. And the fact that My Yami IS doing it, just adds to my purgatorial torture. I have to shun the news in every medium for the next week.
-
Kripes man, I live here in My Yami. Can't you have just a little appreciation for the agony I'm going through? Sheesh.
-
"We're going to change the structure" was a line in the film found in the bunker on Lost. When decoded, it translated to: "Tom Donohoe will be B word-slapped by Ana Lucia and then devoured by the Others".
-
Amazing what a head coach not strung out on zoloft can do, isn't it? Set a game plan, then...... stick to it. All that with an OL that was widely ridiculed by everyone imaginable and a journeyman QB that wouldn't have started anywhere else in the NFL. Nice of Mr. Gray and Jerry's Kids to have been the springboard for My Yami's resurgence.

A lot of Detroit fans have allegedly been seen going after Harrington, already. Usually right after the Lions' games are over.
